Making a whole forest of beaded mushrooms for fall!
Two variations of my ombre mushrooms- one with matte white & clear glass beading and one with metallic purple/green and matte teal beading
Which is your favorite?
Some details of my whimsical mushroom sculpture so far! Not sure what the finished product will look like but I’m having so much fun working with beads and silk.
I made these beaded mushrooms for fun (mostly to play with the beautiful new beads I had gotten!) but now I’m working on incorporating them into a whimsical moss & fungi piece. Kind of like a crochet bonsai I guess, but with big blue mushrooms instead of a tree :)
Beading away! I’m so obsessed with sewing beads onto my crochet pieces right now. Love the sparkle and extra detail they add.
Bead details - blues and greens are my favorite colors. I love this bead mix, I got it at the farmers market a few months ago. It has all sorts of metallic blues and greens and clear glass beads of different shapes. Perfect for these whimsical fungi!
