ive just finished (more or less, still need to work away lose threads and do the border) my current crochet project. its a ca 120x180cm blanket with 5 pieces crocheted together.

Finished this today while at my besties place! We also watched the first season of a show called Dark Winds. Pretty much 90% of the non-sports/wrestling TV I watch is at her place and I just roll with it. I'm enjoying it, especially given the topic and cultural stuff. Really good show. Anyway. This cowl zoomed by while watching it.

Pattern: Dotty by Lena Fedatov

Hook: 3.5mm

Yarn: Toil and Trouble Confetti Sock in Yara (dark color) and Smoke Signals (light color). The neon neps are UV reactive.

Notes: This pattern is supposed to be far taller, but as usual, I made it shorter. This is a personal preference. When they're bigger, they bunch up too much and too close to my throat, which triggers PTSD stuff sooooooooo shorter cowls for me. I stopped at row 54 instead of 70. For the edging, I decided to do one color on one edge and the other on the opposite. I also reversed which way the edging was facing based on each side. The opposite color is facing out on it.

I'm very happy with the results of this and will likely make another one at some point because it's a fun pattern.

I have finished the Black Widow purse! It's sport weight yarn on a 4.25 mm, and I worked extra rows to make sure it was large enough to hold my phone.

Lining is hat making straw. I made the strap differently than in the pattern because the pattern wanted me to work 7 slip stitches over and over, and I would rather not.

mohair and silk and alpaca. laceweight. I have 1600 yards. I have plans.

I would link for the place to buy it, but it's an LYS (named Dyed in the Wool) where the owner chooses colorways and someone dyes them for her. She does not have an online store, so you can't order online, which makes me a little feral. I do like when LYSes have them just so I know which of what brands they have. Great little shop. Not cheap. Worth it.

Working with three different sizes. All are on hold b/c I bought yarn all willy-nilly like a dunce < :' ) More is coming Monday, along with three new colors to play and make cardigans with. Personally, I'm a big fan of my bi cardigan and can't wait to complete it. The hot rainbow cardigan is going to my uncle, and the 'franciscan desert rose dinnerware' cardigan is also mine. Bonus picture of the mermaid cardigan that I still need to add pockets to.
