~ How To Make Rainbow Chakra Earrings ~

You Will Need :

4mm crystal bicone beads in siam x 2, fire opal x 2, light topaz x 2, emerald x 2, sapphire x 2, deep indigo x 2, violet x 2, 38mm flat head pins x 2 and the earring wires of your choice.

Instructions :

1. Thread your beads on to the head pins in the order shown.

2. Turn a loop at the top of each head pin using round nose pliers.

3. Add your earring wires using chain nose pliers.

Options :

flip the bead threading order to start with violet and end with siam.

substitute rondelle or round crystal beads.

~ How To Make Feather Earrings ~

You Will Need :

metal feather charms x 2, 6x4mm crystal rondelle beads, colour 1 x 2, 6x4mm crystal rondelle beads, colour 2 x 2, 8mm metal snowflake spacer beads x 2, 25mm eye pins x 2 and the earring wires of your choice.

Instructions :

1. Thread your beads on to the eye pins in the order shown.

2. Turn a loop at the top of each eye pin using round nose pliers.

3. Add your earring wires to the top loop and your feather charm to the bottom loop of the beaded eye pins using chain nose pliers.

Options :

Substitute the charms of your choice for the feather charms.

Substitute glass pearl, crackle or druk beads for the crystal rondelle beads.

~ How To Make An Infinity Braided Bracelet ~

You Will Need :

Infinity charm, beads of your choice with a 3mm hole x 2, embroidery floss : our pictured example used 2.7 metres.

Instructions :

1. Measure and cut 3 x 45cm lengths of embroidery floss. Fold the threads in half by bringing the ends together.

2. Add the thread to the infinity charm with a lark's head knot, as shown in pictures A,B,C, above.

3. Braid the threads for 13cm then slide on a bead. Tie an overhand knot and trim the excess thread, leaving 1cm tails. Repeat steps 1,2,3 on the other side of the infinity charm

Options :

Substitute a suitable two-ended charm of your choice for the infinity charm.

Replace the large holed beads with smaller holed beads, such as rocailles, add them to the embroidery floss as you braid.

~ How To Stitch Sequin Flowers, Style 1 ~

You Will Need :

8mm cup sequins x 12, size 9° rocaille beads x 30, approx 1 metre of thread such as Nymo D, size 10 beading needle or sharps, tailor's chalk or vanishing pen, scissors

1. Mark a template as shown, approx 20mm across. Thread your needle, secure the thread on the wrong side and stitch through to the front at one of the outer marks.

2. Pick up 1 rocaille bead, 1 cup sequin concave, 2 rocaille beads, 1 cup sequin convex and 2 rocaille beads .-0)00(00-.

Stitch down at your centre mark, pull the thread taut but not tight then stitch up at the next outer mark.

3. Repeat step 2 until you have stitched all six petals. Secure your thread on the wrong side and trim close to your work.

Options :

Substitute sequins of your choice for the 8mm cup, e.g. shell sequins, disc sequins, flat sequins, experiment with different shapes and sizes.

Substitute beads of your choice for the size 9° rocailles, e.g. larger or smaller rocailles, bugle beads, glass druks or pearls.

~ How To Make Ladybird Earrings ~

You Will Need:

10x8mm ladybird beads x 2, 4mm cog metal spacer beads x 2, 2.5mm metal spacer beads x 8, 10mm metal flower beads x 2, 50mm flat head pins x 2 and the earring wires of your choice.

Instructions:

1. Thread your beads on to the head pins in the order shown.

2. With jewellery wire cutters, trim the head pin leaving 1cm of spare wire above the final metal spacer bead. With round nose pliers, turn a loop at the top of each head pin.

3. Add your earring wires using chain nose pliers.

Options :

Substitute focal beads of your choice for the ladybird or flower beads.

Substitute size 11° or size 8° rocailles for the metal spacer beads.

~ How To Make A Crystal Chakra Bracelet ~

You Will Need :

6x8mm Crystal Rondelle beads : one each of red (siam), orange (hyacinth), yellow (topaz), green, blue, indigo (dark amethyst). 3x4mm Crystal Rondelle beads x 44 crystal ab.

0.5mm crystal elastic x 25cm or 50cm

PVA glue, bulldog clip, collapsing eye bead threader (optional)

Instructions :

1. Measure and cut a 25cm length of crystal elastic. Place the bulldog clip 3cm from one end (to stop your beads falling off). Add your bead threader to the other end if you are using one.

2. Starting with the red crystal rondelle, thread your beads in the order shown.

3. To finish, remove the bulldog clip and tie the elastic ends together with a double knot. Dab the knot with PVA glue then thread one end of the elastic through the red crystal bead again ~ as you pull, the knot will slide inside this bead and will be concealed. Wait until the glue is dry then trim the excess elastic.

Options :

Cut a 50mm length of crystal elastic and, after Step 2, use your bead threader to thread through all the beads again before proceeding to Step 3.

Replace the crystal rondelle beads with fire polished facet glass beads or crackle glass beads

~ How To Make A Rose Gold and Crystal Bar Bracelet ~

For a 19cm Bracelet You Will Need :

2 x 8cm lengths of rose gold trace chain, 10x12mm crystal rondelle bead x 1, 6x8mm crystal rondelle beads x 2, 3mm rose gold metal spacer beads x 2, 25mm rose gold eye pin x 1, fastening of your choice : we have used a 6mm rose gold bolt ring and a 5mm rose gold jump ring.

Instructions :

1. Slide the beads on to the eye pin in the order shown. With round nose pliers, turn a loop.

2. Using chain or flat nose pliers, securely attach a length of chain to each eye pin loop.

3. Finally, using chain or flat nose pliers,  securely add your fastener to one length of chain and the jump ring to the other end.

Options :

Substitute the beads of your choice, raid your stash or use up some orphans.

Use longer lengths of chain to make an ankle bracelet or necklace.

How To Make Angel Wing Earrings ~

You Will Need :

Angel Wing charms x 2, size 6° rocaille beads x 16, 7mm jump rings x 8 and the earring wires of your choice.

Instructions :

1. Open a jump ring with chain nose pliers. Thread on a rocaille bead, an angel wing charm and a rocaille bead then close the jump ring securely.

2. Open a jump ring, thread on a rocaille bead, the previously threaded jump ring and a rocaille bead then close the jump ring securely. Repeat this step twice more.

3. Add your earring wires to the final jump ring using chain nose pliers.

Options :

Substitute any charm of your choice for the angel wing charms.

Substitute 5mm jump rings and size 8° rocaille beads for the 7mm/6°.
