Met Harry begins!! He swanned into view in NYC arriving at the pre Met Gala dinner in a luxurious ensemble featuring a velvet smoking style jacket and extremely low cut top, swallows (and hitties) out and that ring on a chain bouncing between with an umbrella being held above his head like the royalty he is. The ring on a chain has been discovered to be a Gucci pendant. His right ear is pierced!! Some familiar fan faces showed up to get pics with him.

Zayn posted a Kahlil Gibran poem (On Love and Marriage) and another selfie! He's pretty as ever, no surprise there, but honestly, HOW? It's unrealistic is what it is. Often when he posts a few days in a row it comes before some kind of release or other action, could this be a lead in to the Aladdin song?

Louis posted stage pics from yesterday and ODE posted an interview recorded back in March of him (somewhat reluctantly) answering mostly pretty silly fan Qs.

He says of his fans, "every single time I call upon them they’re there, and it’s incredible, but it surprises me every time as well, and the level of dedication from them is amazing." He also says again, and seems sincere, that he doesn't know what his fans call ourselves, which interests me because, if you believe him, it raises questions about how much time he really spends in fandom spaces to not know this basic thing. I don't think there's any question that he knows that something old like the chicken wrapped with Parma ham thing is A Thing but there are other times when the things he says read differently if you don't assume he sees all the stuff we're talking about. I think sometimes we believe he's super up to date because he used to be or because some of the other boys are, but is he? Anyway I know I sure wouldn't choose to be if I were him.

And a thought for those out there having the why-is-Harry-out-there-in-the-heat-in-a-beanie (and what does it mean) debate: search the temperatures for Malibu, not L.A. It's coastal and can be much cooler. No, there weren't new Harry pics today, this is still on from a few days ago. I myself accused him of wearing a woolly beanie in the heat just the other day but on reflection, perhaps he had good reason.
