If you don’t sympathize with someone whose loved ones have consistently lied to them for a year, which has now led to their boyfriend getting kidnapped by an evil mastermind, I can’t blame you for that. 

All I can say is you don’t have to worry, because Iris will rarely assert her right to respect and honesty after this moment. Once her loved ones start treating her the way she deserves to be treated, she no longer has to get angry about their problematic behavior and therefore she will necessarily become less selfish and harsh.

Watch out for the moments she suggests they be honest with other women to spare them the pain she experienced, though! She’s much calmer about those requests, so perhaps they will be less offensive.
