It would be a Tommy Begins story and show his softening over the years.
We’d start with him as a probie, move onto Howie getting there, then Sal, then Hen.
We’d go into how they got Gerrard to leave and the bonding that happens afterwards - we got only the sneakiest hint of that but I need more! Give me the behind the scenes plotting of the complaints and the celebration afterwards.
The four of them bonding more and more as they survive captain after captain. Weird games they come up with, scoring systems that predict how long a captain will last, I need so much of Hen’s bookie era, stupid inside jokes, them hanging out outside of work.
Let my guy thaw until he’s someone you’d want to be around all the time!
