I love how nervous Halsin is. As if after 350 years, he’s still not sure if he’s got game or not.

If someone doesn't post a video of the Halsin romance scene with "The Bear Necessities" from the jungle book playing in the background after BG3 launches I don't know what I'm going to do with myself.
Playing Baldur’s Gate 3 EA and periodically taking breaks to read the internet’s reactions to the infamous bear x Astarion scene is truly one of the highlights of my existence.
That one scene in Baldur’s Gate 3
Vampire + Druid bear
eyebrows eyebrows 😈
I'm super excited for BG3 to drop but it also made me a total clown.
Like, I started my first playthrough last year and played for a day (I am a very slow gamer, so I only barely reached the blighted village after walking through the druid grove), and next day, theres the Update and my playthrough was gone. No biggie, I would try again later.
For a wholeass year, I didn't touch the game, but my friend did. They fucking prophesized that Halsin would be my go-to-boo if made available, which, fair. But then they send me the fucking bear scene as the first glimpse of Halsin I ever got. I'm still down bad, but that was just rude
Anybody remember that movie Annihilation?
I did several days ago. I remembered loving the music from the trailer, and thought about watching it. I never did see it so out of curiosity, I looked up some clips on YouTube, and watched the one about the Bear....
It was f**king terrifying. I have never in MY ENTIRE LIFE felt such a feeling of dread and horror. That “bear” had the most mutilated face I had ever seen on an animal, and when it spoke I felt sick. I felt a pit open in my body while it stalked around the characters, who were TIED UP, and then rip another one to shreds. When the video ended, I thought I was going to vomit.
The worst part of all this? I scrolled into the comments, and read couple. Among them was an explanation as to why the bear could talk, and I was utterly disgusted. Now, I’m really happy I didn’t see the movie, because I would have had to leave early.
I just needed to get this off my chest, because that thing’s voice has been haunting since I watched the clip.
Not to be melodramatic, but I was just watching Annihilation alone in my apartment and the power went out in the middle of the bear scene, flickered back on violently a few times, then went out again for good. RIP me.
