There is also a gif that Cruiser made, but it's just barely over tumblr's size limit so i can't post it here -- and i haven't found a good gif editor for linux yet, so i can't edit it myself -- but its a very very cute video!

there has also been a wolf spotted in the area, and once again the gif that Cruiser made is too big to post over here on Tumblr and so will have to wait until i find a good gif editor for linux 😭😭😭

806 looking around while her coy and 128jr play in the background 💖💖💖

Man, whatever is going on with the 806s & 128jr is weird. 806 has charged at 128jr a couple of times now, but is also sharing food with her? And 806's cub seems really attached to 128jr.

I've changed the wording on my family tracker to say that 806 has "quasi-adopted" 128jr, since whatever is going on between those two is likely more complicated than just a normal adoption.

Also, sidenote: it feels wild to call any adoption a "normal adoption", since we have only witnessed two of them & we didn't even know they were possible until the first one happened in 2014. But idk how else to say it -- something about this one feels different.
