Omg thanks! I always like to know sources of these things. Bahahaha it’s like Modest forgot that Sophiam broke up or something (tho I suppose it’s possible that Sophia and Nicola are friends outside of Liam? But both of them being at a Little Mix concert is a little suspicious and suggests a PR motive.)

a guy from Beard Wars came through my line today and i basically just shit-talked about how overly dramatic it was FOR ME and that i could only get through three episodes. mind you, i've seen every episode of Laguna Beach, The Hills, AND The City. so saying that Beard Wars was too dramatic for me is saying a lot.

Want there an article about a staff of a restaurant bein interviews about Sophiam eating there way before they became official. It looked very planted bc they were so loved up?

You talking about this I assume? Yeah I really wanna know how a random diner that was interviewed knew enough about Liam to know this:

Yes a random diner at that restaurant knew that the girl Liam was with was an "old school friend" uh huh sure.

I was speculating for ages before Sophiam was confirmed that Modest was gonna do a "hometown girl" narrative with Liam's next beard (based on stuff like this and also tweeting about Hattie and following Shannon) and lo and behold… that was true.

I think this was planted and purposely vagueified so that it could apply to any brunette "old school friend" while they were still trying to choose which specific girl they would go with.

November 3rd: Little Mix, Zerrie, and Sophiam promo day

During the whole Australian tour, we got zilch in the way of Sophiam and the only Zerrie sighting was when Zayn went to the airport to pick up Perrie (but looked like he'd rather be anywhere else.) Sophia never showed up at all, and we all forgot Liam had a girlfriend (Liam included.)

Luckily, as soon as tour ended, Liam (or Modest) remembered he had a girlfriend again and decided to enlighten us.

It kind of looks like someone told him what to tweet and he messed it up.

"Zayn" also used the end of tour to return to his favorite hobby: promoting Little Mix. Poor bb must have been going through some serious withdrawal symptoms in Australia. Luckily, a new single premiered right on time.

Zayn's tweet was also retweeted by Little Mix's account, because no Little Mix single promo would be complete without a reminder that Zayn is dating Perrie.

This apparently wasn't enough Sophiam, Zerrie, or Little Mix promo, because later in the day we got this mess:

Please tell me why "Ruth" couldn't have tweeted about Perrie's "dazzling" engagement ring when she actually got engaged? Nope, apparently she had to wait until a Little Mix single came out. Seriously, go on her twitter back to August, Ruth has never mentioned Zerrie or the engagement before. Sophia yes (tho that makes sense) but nothing about Zerrie. Also, you'd think she'd be more interested in congratulating Zayn and Perrie than in Perrie's sparkly ring, but I guess not. Modest, I c u.

Apparently tho, "Ruth" wasn't done.

(By the way, the Peter Andre thing is not new - if you've been reading her twitter all along as I'm sure this Modest employee has, you'll know that she tweeted about him being her celeb crush in June 2012 and that she'd been a fan of him since she was 5 in May 2011. So that's where we get #beeninlovewithhimfor18years )

Anyway, there are a few more tweets on Ruth's account, but the last tweet about Sophiam or Zerrie that we get during this half hour time period is this one:

Now listen closely kids, cause here's the thing I want you to notice. That last tweet was tweeted at 1:03 pm PST. (btw, everything's in PST in this masterpost) The tweet right before that, about her brother being amazing was tweeted at 12:54 pm. 9 minute gap between tweets. Here's all the timestamps for Ruth's tweets starting with the tweet about Perrie's engagement ring: 12:28, 12:34, 12:38, 12:39, 12:41, 12:44, 12:45, 12:46, 12:47, 12:48, 12:49, 12:52, 12:54, 1:03 (the tweet above). After 1:03 pm, the next hour and a half of tweets were not about Sophiam or Zerrie.

For the timestamps above, you will note that the longest time gap was the 9 minute gap between 12:54 pm and 1:03 pm. Every other gap was much shorter.

So what happened during that 9 minute time gap, you might ask?

What a very interesting coincidence. You know what's even more interesting? It was 5 am Tokyo time, and Niall was drunk and partying in a club at the time this was tweeted:

Yep. Niall was definitely sober enough and bored enough while clubbing to find it in him to tweet about Little Mix, all the way from Japan. What a chap. Modest do you even try. 

You might think that would be enough promo and fail for one day. Unfortunately, you'd be wrong. After an extended coffee break, our poor exhausted employee was back with a renewed vigor, this time on Nicola's account.

Hmm, what a coincidence - Ruth's last tweet about Sophiam, (which is an hour an a half after her last tweet about the girlfriends), just *happens* to be 5 minutes after Nicola's Little Mix tweet and 6 minutes before Nicola's Sophiam tweet. Hmm.

Now, maybe *some* of those tweets (especially the ones that aren't about girlfriends) could have been real tweets from Ruth and Nicola. However, I'm inclined to think most were from management, especially the one about Perrie's engagement ring. Given that all of these promo tweets happened in the same day or two (and that these accounts don't generally tweet about Little Mix or Zerrie), I find it hard to believe that Liam's family just loooooves Little Mix and Zerrie (and Sophiam for that matter) that much. And since I have good reason to believe management has been on their friends' accounts before, I'm betting they do the same thing with the boys' families' twitters.

How do you feel about the whole 'Sophia' venture Liam went through? Following a Sophia account but no One Direction ones, he didn't even reply to things directed towards him and maybe that would've been different.

I guess I sort of addressed this in the last ask, but yeah I do think that it's weird that both times Liam has addressed Sophia on twitter he keeps talking about the hate she's getting, or fake accounts... rather than say anything nice about her, or talk about a cute thing she's done or they've done together or... anything.

If he truly likes this girl you'd think he would do that you know? Even for real relationships there's image to consider, and you gotta give people something to like about Sophia and Sophiam... but all he ever does is talk about the hate she gets? What? Like even if you think it's real you gotta wonder if he really likes her... no wonder Danielle was liking stuff on instagram about rebound relationships and "loving when you're lonely" sheesh.

I wonder if Liam is actually doing this on purpose as a way of rebelling because he doesn't like Sophia and/or Sophiam, and wants an end to the relationship or a different beard. Maybe Modest set up this arrangement and he doesn't like it. If nobody likes Sophia and nobody ships Sophiam and Liam only contributes to this by giving shippers nothing to work with... Modest may relent and allow them to break up and/or find a different beard that Liam likes better. It's something to consider.
