I’ve seen a couple people say Liam’s sisters post was partially about louis as well at the end, and I’m curious what do you think about that? Should no one talk about Liam as to let him and his image rest? Is that the correct thing to do? is louis crossing a line by speaking on him in the band and their relationship? When I read the post that thought did cross my mind but then everyone just started accusing and going after the guys ex girlfriend. Gross tabloids are writing about the subject it’s disgusting his sisters shouldn’t even have to worry about this kind of stuff.

I guess this is what Directioners are talking about.

I think in general, people should allow Liam’s family and closest friends— and that includes Louis— to grieve as they need to. Grief is hard enough as it is, let alone navigating it publicly with a huge audience. If they think Ruth is shading Louis in any way, then I think it’s a terrible misreading of her post.

Yes, I think Ruth probably does mean all of them - but only Louis is hitting the headlines every few days for talking about Liam, and only Louis has a single out right now which he desperately wants to do well.

I wonder how that made Z and L feel seeing Liam sisters write that. I know she is hurting, but the timing. They're trying to rebuild what was lost. I don't think she did it to make them feel guilty, but in the middle of Zouis trending. The whole entire situation is awful, but now I see some feeling guilty and it probably makes Zouis feel bad.

Ruth’s IG post on Liam’s birthday was really sad. One year is a relatively short time in the chronology of grieving. My personal experience is that grief can still feel incredibly painful after years.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Louis and Zayn have thought about Liam every single day since his passing. It also wouldn’t surprise me if they feel survivor’s guilt every single day for the rest of their lives, even if they couldn’t have changed anything.
