Look I can find a really hateful quote in the bible too! "Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones." Psalm 137:9. Both the Quran and Bible and probably any religious text have some pretty harsh things to say. I don't really care for either, just figured I'd point out a Bible verse if someone wanted to point out a Quran verse.
Tons of ugly choices in both books if your looking for samples. Lots of nice stuff too. Contradictions abound. I find both books completely useless, and the few good moral teachings are not worth the effort. You can find deeper morality in Harry Potter, and it has talking snakes too, if that's what turns you on. :)
