Hello! Someone might have already tried messaging you about this, but I wanted to say that personal experience says that some of the "illegal characters" are just a few specific letters next to each other.
for example "com" is blocked, because of worry that people will write out a link in their profile to a malicious website. there are also some letters blocked because they could refer to acronyms of things that are banned topics.
it's less about the actual words being said, but certain letter combinations that get blocked. I cannot remember all of them, but the ones that I do remember are
and possibly a few others, along with some more obvious combinations, like "ass", because it is considered bad language.
an example where this would cause problem would be like the sentence "i'll come back later"
the automatic filter doesn't register the word "come" as it's own word, it only sees the three letters "com" and blocks the message.
some words that are blocked because of these limits are "organize", "available", "small",
word combinations like "that was good!" also get blocked by the filter.
the only way around this that my friends and i have found is easy to use is we add the letter "z" in between words, and it's usually not too hard to tell, but me and my friends are all very fluent in english, with more than half of our group using english as our main language.
and example of us using "z" to get around censor would be "that z will happen later!"
i know it is not a very good solution, but it is the only one i have found for this problem. maybe someone else would have a better solution?
also, good luck with this senior-junior event chico!
Ooh… I can't figure out what words (characters?) are illegal… But thank you very much, I understand that this chat system is very complicated.
