Dear Jon: I forgive you for not performing "Jungle" last night. And for calling us ATL the whole time. You're too beautiful a person for me not to forgive you of your mistakes.

Dear Jon: I forgive you for not performing "Jungle" last night. And for calling us ATL the whole time. You're too beautiful a person for me not to forgive you of your mistakes.
7 Things I Learned From Last Night
1. Sometimes it’s good to try for people. And by “try” I mean making an effort to make things work even when the other person can be a bit difficult in order to show them that deep beyond their stubbornness, they’re worth it. But sometimes you have to realize that there are those people who you can’t keep trying for. These are the people who don’t want you to try for them. The people who would much rather run away (literally) from their problems like a coward instead of facing them head on. And that’s the thing, you can’t keep chasing after cowards until you’re out of breath because they’re just going to keep running, and it’s better for you to save your breath for someone who will run with you instead of away from you. So now it’s over, completely over. Seeing him in person was all I needed to know I wasn’t missing much, if anything at all. I thought I still loved you as a person, a human being, but really, there’s nothing left to love. Perhaps this is what the last bits of closure tastes like.
2. Vaseline is a good alternative to lotion, even on the ashiest days. (If it’s taken you years to finish a container, this will speed up the process.)
3. Trustworthy guy friends actually do exist. Sometimes they’re right there in front of you and you forgot to notice.
4. It is possible to part thick concert crowds like Moses and make your way to the front of stage. Tips: A) say “excuse me” as you make your way through until you reach a dead end, or B) pretend you’re looking for someone and yell, “MOM?” until people let you through.
5. If the crowd is too thick you might end up giving the guy behind you a special standing room only lap dance as you practice your twerking skills to “Work” by Riri.
6. The sun is the best filter.
7. Life’s more fun when you’re surrounded by your friends.
