Dear Vector Prime, We know of a few universes where Optimus Primal is a contemporary of Optimus Prime, rather than a distant descendant. Are there similar universes where either of these individuals is named "Convoy"? And, if so, what is the other named?

There are a number of universes in which these two heroes coexist; I am reminded of one reality where its Optimus Prime counterpart was merely one of many equally-ranked Convoys, serving as Battle Convoy alongside figures such as Beast Convoy and Rodimus Convoy.

To answer your question more specifically, I believe that in one universe, the guardian of the Astro Blaster was named "Kongvoy", and was upgraded into King Kongvoy once he took up the Matrix of Leadership. Others of that name exist in other universes; one version of Kongvoy was a hero of the Grand Uprising, who took the form of a blue chromium ro-simian after undergoing the Beast Upgrade.

Via PreviewsWorld, we have our first official images of MP-38+ Burning Convoy! His existence originally revealed earlier this week when several online retailers jumped the gun and listed him without images, MP-38+ is a redeco of the original MP-38 Beast Convoy, AKA Optimus Primal. Cast in partially translucent red plastic, this toy homages Primal’s appearance in the Beast Wars II: Lio Convoy in Imminent Danger portion of the 1998 Japan only triple feature Beast Wars Special.

  Previews World gives a release date of March 25, 2020 with an order cutoff of October 7th, 2019. Some online exclusives, such as Generations Selects Smokescreen, have been solicited via Previews as well, so hopefully he will soon reappear at various online retailers as well.

The Allspark has acquired the latest issue of Hyper Hobby / Mook Character Land and provided the Transformers related scans for your viewing pleasure.  Most of the photos have been seen previously, but what’s notable is our first look at the head mode for GoShooter!  Also noted (but not shown) is that Fortress Maximus is stated to come with his Master Sword and Fortress has a Headmasters anime accurate head.  There are also some new pictures of the upcoming Masterpiece MP-32 Beast Convoy / Optimus Primal.
