last art post of the year (maybe) I drew this about a month ago, my interpretation of post-oot/pre-ww beast Ganon would look like breaking free from his seal.
If you will forgive the belated delivery, I offer this little illustration for Zelgan Kinkmas’ day 5 theme: monster, and the virtue of flight.
I noodled on a double throne portrait for far too long for this one, and scrapped the design because after all, everyone draws them on the throne in some configuration or other — in fact I’ve rendered them thus before, mumblemumbletenmumble years ago. Going back to blank page led me to the composition here, and some notes that will hopefully become useful for Act 4

Do you have any headcanons about (any) Ganondorf and his pig traits? Does he transform at the height of adrenaline/emotion, or is it in his control?
Do you think that he shares behaviors with Ganon even in his human form? If so what kinds? Is he embarrassed about it or nonchalant?

OK first i think it's important to establish some of the more shared traits because i do think across the board there's some shared characteristics
I do think his more boar like traits come out more depending on his emotional state
He most likely has to control his body temperature extremely well
All his senses get heightened
He has some serious breeding/rearing instincts that kick in occasionally. Gods forbid the man has a daughter because if so she'll be more protected than gold in a room full of darknuts

Because he's so young i would suspect he has way more trouble controlling it
He tries to cover up a lot of his lashing out but it gets harder i would think because of link slowly making his way towards him
His organ most likely calms him down the most
He has random cravings for apples and freaks out because of it

He's most likely embarrassed after hyrule is flooded especially when in hindsight he realizes things could have turned out different
The traits absolutely come out when he's pissed but he's definitely better at keeping them to himself
His phantom probably has been the one to help curve and help hide any of his behaviors
Occasionally lets loose but only so he doesn't end creating a bigger mess he can't control

Listen we all saw his execution scene,he was boaring out right there
He's a lot less kept guarded about it then WW
Most likely because he was never humbled properly so his emotions are so much more fierce
His seal scar has probably bled with that form seeing how much strain he puts on himself
He's totally broke something antique because ganon REALLY wanted to punch something in the moment

Theres a firm amount of WW and TP mixed with this
He's a lot more experienced with things
On the one hand he LOVES it
On the other the destruction isn't always needed
Because he remembers all his defeats he absolutely bristles when he thinks back on things
He definitely has a slew of contact, alarm and combat calls he uses mid combat
He's totally scolded ganon's shadow when he was pissed with his other side
