FATE/GRAND ORDER ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK VI ALBUM COVER
This here is so juicy. I wonder about how accurate it is. Was Douman incorrect about his reasoning? Abe no Seimei didn’t correct him about this, but said he lacked love toward humanity to complete that transformation (I know this part is where he lies to Ibuki Douji, but here his plan is explained better). He lacked love, but Abe no Seimei didn’t say he lacked sin affinity. His motivation wasn’t just evil for evil’s sake, he, who was always doomed to lose, doomed to die, doomed to be lesser no matter what efforts he invests, wanted to defy that fate of being overshadowed by Abe no Seimei to surpass him. It was a cry for attention when he probably resented being trampled. IMO, that malice was born of regrets and shame from a designated loser unloved by people. But he lacked the love toward humanity mixed in.
The juicer part wasn’t specifically about Ashiya Douman (other why he failed to transform into Beast) but the possible information the nature of the “God of a Different Star.” Beforehand, we assumed, the “God of a Different Star” was either a creature who achieved class Beast, or a title/foreshadowing alias that was took up to hide the identity of Beast VII (some others thought hijacked the Beast, but I never agreed with that interpretation because prior to manifesting, Kirei and Holmes implied the nature and existence of the Apostles’ boss was like Tamamo Vitch). However, the way it’s used by Douman it implies that to create the “God of a Different Star” (or how he likes to dub them: “Satan who Art as Lucifero”, it’s a confirmation that means the “God of a Different Star” and was just addressing them in a third-person title rather than addressing to a third party) it seems you need to become a Beast utilising Lostbelts. I wonder if it’s like the Path of the Root: if you use the Greater Grail in Fuyuki to open your path to the Root, you wouldn’t get a brand new magic, but the Third Magic because that path specifically leads toward that destination and no other. Perhaps “the ‘malice’ born out lost history” as Cosmos in the Lostbelt PV warns, maybe that specific Beast Class (VII), receives the title or Horned Crown of a “God of a Different Star” (also nicknamed as Satan). “The God of a Different Star” could be, then, a title to the Beast VII class Horned Crown, like “Mara” seems to be the title of the Horned Crown belonging to Beast III, that in FGO, was achieved by Kiara and Kama. Or simply the “Beast born out the loser history” like Beast I was the “Beast born out Panhistory.” Limbo could be mistaken and this is just inane ramblings, but it’s something to ponder about. Abe no Seimei did not correct him in this, only told him he lacked love for humanity to transform into Beast.
olgaaaaa
LB6 theory: We'll get Erosion from Morgan and in LB7 use it to separate Olga from the Alien God. I've also seen some people who think Erosion was the dagger Gil gave Fujimaru in the Babylonia anime to attack Tiamat with, and if so it could have been added to the anime as foreshadowing.
So been thinking about Beast VI from Fate Prototype and a small theory is that L and R will be based on the two Beasts from the Book of Revelation (which we already known is ridden by the Whore of Babylon). Basically the first Beast is the one with Seven Heads and came from the sea (which could probably be the Primordial Sea/Tiamat in Fate). Meanwhile the second Beast "came out of the Earth" and is said to have "two horns like a lamb", and speaking "like a dragon". It also makes people worship the first Beast and is associated with the False Prophet.
The two Beasts aligned themselves with the dragon in opposition to God. I guess in this case, Beast VII would be the dragon. Than again we don't really know much about the Abrahamic God in Fate and Nasuverse (hell if there even is one considering everything). It could be possible that "Beast of Shame" mentioned by King Hassan could possibly be one of them, Beast V, or both. Caster of Limbo does refer to Beast VII as "Lord Satan" so there might be a connection there. There's also the fact that sometimes Satan and Lucifer are separate but connected beings, with Satan being one of God's angels who is a judge. So it may be possible that Beast VII has a L and R too? I would honestly say this more of an observation rather than a theory considering I'm sorta a newbie Fate fan. Not to mention the Ultimate Ones and Gaia/The World considering Type Mercury might show up in Lostbelt 2. Hell shouldn't the Ultimate Ones arrived in those worlds of the Lostbelts? Well, lets see where this goes than. You guys got any thoughts?
Something bugging me about Galahad:
Ok, so while him jumping ship is absolutely a dick move (Before anyone mentions how he was summoned because of experiments involving Mashu: Remember, Servants can reject an attempted summoning, AS SEEN WITH GALAHAD HIMSELF DURING THE CAMELOT SINGULARITY), It’s implied he knew about the (then) upcoming Lostbelts, at least since we (canonically, btw) beat Goetia to death with our bare hands, and yet, he didn’t think to tell anyone that “Hey, so there’s another Beast coming and it’s gonna try and do what is essentially a HGW on crack.”, even though we know from Midnight/Lostroom that he can possess Mashu?! WHY?! IF HE KNEW, WHY DIDN’T HE TELL ANYONE?! Is it because he thinks we wanted this to happen? Does he think that we had a choice in whether or not we fought through the Singularities? News Flash, asshole! WE HAD NO CHOICE! EVERYONE, EVEN SLIGHTLY MORE CAPABLE THAN US AT OUR JOB, WAS DEAD! THERE WAS NO ONE LEFT! HELL, WHY IS HE PINNING THE BLAME ON US INSTEAD OF THE BEAST/I-HOPE-IT’S-JUST-TYPE-VENUS RESPONSIBLE!
With recent revelations as to the nature of Beast VII and their manifestation, it really does tie in the whole plot of Fate/Grand Order from the very beginning, in a way we couldn’t have expected.
Gilgamesh himself said, in Babylonia, with the advent of Beast I, VII of The End had manifested somewhere in the world. That simple sentence comes with the implication that Goetia and VII are linked, intrinsically in a way no other Beasts are.
Beasts III and VI are different- the L/R sides are explicitly simply different aspects of the same Beast and thus are somewhat the same. Goetia and VII, from what we can see, are entirely different but share similarities.
A connection.
Throughout the Lostbelt arc, it is clear now that Goetia is in possession of Romani’s body to continue functioning. Somehow, he has continued to live, and to put it bluntly, uses Romani’s body as a meatsuit- somewhat like how he used OG Solomon’s corpse as his meat puppet. Only this time, he uses it to aid humanity and Chaldea.
Beast VII therefore, without surprise, due to their shared symbolic connection does the same. Only instead of aiding humanity, it seeks to destroy it- thus, it puppets Olga Marie’s body out of some sick pragmatism. The Alien God specifically uses Olga’s body simply to do what it wants, turning what was once a sweet if socially inept girl who wanted to do the right thing into something completely antithetical to her previous intentions of saving humanity.
Given how Nasu tends to use similarities and how this single sentence brought forth this new plot development in Lostbelt 5.2, it’s clear Beast I and VII are connected in a way no other Beasts are- beyond one simply being the Beginning and the other being the End.
Chaldea is it’s own greatest enemy, as well as ally. And it wouldn’t surprise me if this simple connection between Goetia and U-Olga turns out more significance.
After all, the reason Goetia could still be around might very well be tied into Beast VII’s existence- he can’t die permanently until they do. They might have to be killed at the same time, thus bringing an end to the Beginning but also the End.
It would be fitting, really, for the remnants of Romani and Olga- once so very close- to go out together.
Then again, my theory could be entirely wrong, but this is a development I’m intensely looking forward to seeing more of.
TLDR: Goetia and Beast VII having body snatched people belies the connection Gilgamesh brought up in Babylonia, and might lead to more explainations regarding them sticking around, and how Goetia has managed to stay alive.
