Loki just blinked down at the woman before pushing a box of candy to get it land next to her. He grumbled, "Happy Birthday, I guess."

Well well now isn't this a surprise! And she doesn't mean that in a playful way she means she is genuinely surprised at the fact that he'd even entertained the thought of getting her something for her birthday.

She's genuinely rendered speechless for a moment, still in her seat as she blinks at the box of candies. She manages to open her mouth but the words just can't seem to form. Her brain was switching through channels of static to try and find the program that gets it to work properly again.

"I like these." Maybe he knew somehow whish is why he got them - he knew her birthday after all. "Thank you...." It almost ended as a question, but even if surprised she didn't want to seem ungrateful.

It sounded like a threat coming from Comte but if one knew him better, it would be Loki Oriflamme. The Teacher held an amused smirk as he tilted his top hat downwards as if mockingly providing the elite respect for Loki that was roaming the roads of Paris. The Shapeless One had business in the streets but now his own amusement takes priority when he noticed that Loki was wandering around.

► ◣🔫◥ || There was a sense of uneasiness when the beastia came near the Dhampir. Dante nervously looked upwards to lock eyes with Loki for a brief moment before averting his gaze elsewhere. What was he doing here? Maybe he didn't notice how Dante had looked at him? There were too many questions bouncing inside Dante's head as he was trying to slowly turn around to run for his life from the cursed bearer.

IT WASN’T OFTEN THE BOURREAU SAW THE BEASTIA outside of the confines of his cage.  In fact, she had never seen Loki outside of his cage.  So when she saw the man, strolling down the castle corridor, casual as could be, it almost failed to register who he was, and how rare of a sight she was witnessing.

“ ...?  ...Master Loki...? ”  The words slipped out of her mouth less as a question, and more as verbalized confusion.  It took her a moment of staring and blinking to register that her eyes were, in fact, not deceiving her.

As the realization hit her, her body began to move again.  “ M-Master Loki?!  What are you doing here? “ She stammered as she approached the Oriflamme, stopping before getting too close, keeping a respectful distance from him.
