fuck i JUST realised bro breaking the disc on dave's shirt after strifing with him foreshadows him trying to crack the Beat Mesa by sticking his katana into it when he fights jack on it ,,,

I finished these 2 weeks ago but I'm making some popsockets :D
So what's the deal with Dave's Bro on the Beat Mesa when Jack is on his killing spree?
Bro is one of the most mysterious Guardians for sure, it’s likely he had some inkling about what the Beat Mesa and the Scratch was, and perhaps recognising the threat Jack posed, sort of ‘started’ the Scratch himself as a beacon to let the Session know they had to pack up and leave because shit just got real. Of course you could also get into symbology about how Bro stabs into the record Dave wears and how he was the one to scratch his shirt during their Strife, but that’s getting a bit more Meta.

Though people may not agree...
I think beat mesa's on a time players land hold more importance than just for scratching a session.
OH SHIT, I never noticed that the surface on which Damara had scratched the device was visible here: she scratched it all the way around that cilinder!
Also, I like how it's emitting yellow energy, similar to the energy that was emitted by the Beat Mesa (and the Queens' rings...).
What with how brief this image only appears in the flash, I hadn't even NOTICED it in Cascade the first few times I watched it, until someone pointed it out on the forums.
So, I wasn't even aware that the Beat Mesa had been rising up to Skaia to reset everything.
(Hehe, that kinda looks like Hope powers)
The scratched Homestuck disc 2 even emits yellow light that is similar to the light the Beat Mesa emits. :P
