Taking insulin while pregnant is risky for the baby but I have no other options. The bright side is that I've managed to control my diabetes SO WELL that I am now taking less insulin than EVER before. #Dexcom has a lot to do with this! I am so grateful for technology advances in medicine! I don't need much insulin because I have been keeping my sugar levels below 200 at ALL times. I never have to take more than 4 units at a time for meals and corrections, and my basal rate is set to give me only 1 unit per hr. My average blood sugar level is about 115 rn which is ALMOST PRE-DIABETIC! I can't express how amazing this is! Its almost as if my baby is helping me to heal! 💕 God can truly work miracles! #beatingdiabetes #pregnantdiabetic #miracles 💉💉 (at Frankfort, Kentucky) https://www.instagram.com/p/BwxJs1tAsHRFVJskRIdXLQKKBxCzw-KjHWm3D40/?igshid=1qdt38gy806nc
