The circuits of the Vortex Manipulator were fried, one hop through time and it seemed the device didn’t have any more life left in it. She shouldn’t have been surprised, especially considering she had traded her ship for it with a man she didn’t know. At least she had made one trip though, but where she had ended up she was not entirely sure; the place was nice, and from what she could see there were human inhabitants.
The former blonde cautiously stepped from her hiding place, her eyes searched the hall as she tugged on the jacket she had borrowed – found in one of the closets nearby. Jenny turned to make her way down the hall, swiftly coming to a halt as she came face-to-face with a man. Something about him caused the hair to raise on the back of her neck, but she wasn’t entire sure why.
“I’m sorry sir,” she apologized. “I didn’t see you there.”
