Hopefully, for an Indians' organization trying hard to be loved, this season's good work suggests, if not guarantees, the promise of future returns at the box office"
It was painful to watch, but its over. As of last night, the Cleveland Indian's season has officially come to an end. But man, was it one hell of a run. Cleveland, I hope you hear me when I say that our boys have nothing to hang their heads about. All season long, they clawed and fought, and in the end, they prevailed. Against all odds, they made it to the post season, even when the numbers said that they had no business being there. I, for one, had a blast this season. The ups and the downs are just part of the fun, and made the season interesting.
Terry Francona has worked miracles with this team, making them into a playoff contender in just one year's time. I sincerely hope that any doubt that ever lived in the mind of the players or the fans in now gone, because this team truly has potential. I can't wait to see what next year will bring. GO TRIBE!
