d12’s societal pressure to stay in line and hold your tongue lends itself SO well to implicit submission. I fully expect haymitch to come back from the games with fire in his bones Guy Montag style but be shut down almost immediately by people who think it’s just better to stay quiet and hope it passes.

In the same vein, I expect there to be a faber-type character who has kept up with capitol propaganda or intel and noticed how the capitol sways the masses, but doesn’t do anything to start a revolution. And my god if Beetee, who won his games years prior to Haymitch, isn’t the perfect character.
