My allergies have been SO bad the past few days, that putting on makeup would have been a disaster Today, my eyes are still watery, but not nearly as bad! I have been chomping at the bit to try out my new @midascosmetics Lemonade palette and today I finally felt like I could. So 🥁← (drum-roll 😂), here it is…my first look done with this beautiful monochromatic yellow palette! This is the first time I have used eyeshadows from this brand, and I really like them! These are highly pigmented and blend effortlessly! I am very impressed and will definitely be purchasing more from this brand! When I first discovered @peachyqueenblog I fell in love, it quickly became one of my favorite Indie brands! I ordered the Kush Queen palette immediately on October 2,2018 and wanted the Summer Bloom so bad I could taste it!!!! I had to have it, but of course it was sold out! Each time I checked it remained sold out, so I sent a DM to find out if it was coming back. I was told it would be back in the summer. I waited (not) patiently for 10 months and was able to order it on July 27th! Yesterday it arrived, and as I knew it would be, it is beautiful! My swatches don’t do it justice, but I tried! If you have never tried Peachy Queen, you really need to! Their shadows are reasonably priced and the quality is amazing! Now I have my eye on the new Spirit Board palette, it looks wonderful! Retails for $20. 💘From @dr.botanicals the Pomegranate Superfood Brightening Eye Serum. I can’t wait to try this out! I bought the original @hermannersims Lucid Dreams pressed eyeshadow palette way back when it first came out, for $35 and I absolutely love it! The shimmers are amazing and do NOT require a wet brush to explode with shimmer. The mattes are soft and totally blendable. When I heard that there would be a Lucid Dreams 2 palette I just couldn’t wait! Then when it came out and I saw the photos on the website I was disappointed. It just didn’t look like it would live up to the first one. Color me sad! Then...recently I got an email telling me that the palette is on sale for $18! So I figured that for this price I couldn’t afford not to pick it up! OMG! The photos did NOT do this palette any justice at all! The shades in this palette are just as beautiful as the ones in the original palette and there are no repeat shades. I am so happy that I went ahead and ordered it! It would have been a shame to have missed out on this one! I just checked on the @hermannerisms website and the palette is still available for $18. I have no idea how long they will have it, but if you bought and loved the original you might want to grab one of these before they are gone. I didn’t use any primer, water or setting spray to do the swatches. They don’t do justice to how beautiful these are in person though!
