took these out of a degrease (water & dish soap) bucket. the dark discoloration (bacteria? algae?) has seemingly spread from the cat skull to the coyote’s nasal turbinates & the beavers’ teeth. cleaned the bucket and put them in water & h2o2.

8.30.20: just took these out of the degrease (dawn dishsoap & water). They look significantly less greasy and yellow. Teeth fell out of the coyote, and some of the beaver teeth cracked. I realized there are still little bits of matter in the tooth sockets (I’m forgetting the proper term) and between the beaver mandibles, so I rinsed off the bones and am leaving them in a bucket of just water for a while.
