So here's my thoughts for we this episode:

Otis/Ruby/Maeve: Otis and Maeve are hooking up and I'm glad they are. I think it's great to see more of Ruby cause they do have potential. Maeve is poor and suffering rip. She still doesn't know about the voicemail and it's probably too awkward to bring up now for Otis. I usually hate miscommunication plotlines but it kind of makes sense

Adam & Eric/Ola & Lily: these two couples make me smile. Adam is learning to be less angry and they remembered how friendship with Ola. I love the way they handled them

The adults: Fuck Adam's dad lol. Rest in shit. Otis mom and Ola's dad are keeping the baby. So now Otis and Ola share a sibling. Interesting. I don't trust the new headteacher one bit. The way she spoke to Jackson was so...charged...

August better pay the fuck up. hate when rich characters do this! Money means something to people who don’t have a lot of it

OF course her mom is WHITE. IDK WHY BUT I COULD JUST SEE IT COMING. not complaining or anything it was just obvious

Anyway, the black girl is in for a surprise. She should talk to Mia from love, victor.

A small detail I love about August is he looks past Simon. Sometimes he looks down on him but I like that sometimes he just stares past him like there’s nothing to see.

I really like the introduction. August is supposed to be initiating him into the school but Will is not like other boys 

I think it’s really sweet how little the boys kiss. It’s a nice pace. They take forever to kiss and I enjoy that there’s clearly chemistry.

I was worried August would find them but that’s not happening rn. he seems to have no money. Disowned???We’ll see later

The black girl is just...there i guess. She’s got close to nothing as it stands

I must admit I think the romance is super sweet. I’m enjoying it a lot. Esp with the way both episodes end with a kiss. Sooo good
