Oh he’s a gentleman
The first episode of Me and Thee was titled "Silhouette" and the second episode sticks to the photography theme with "Black & White."
Which I think is meant to emphasize that this Red Rascal, who is already wearing his Blue Boy's color, is anything but black and white.
Even if we all knew his rich ass would whine about sitting in the peasant blue wooden chairs.
Thee is a Red Rascal who threatens violence and chaos each chance he gets.
But he also cares (a lot) about one specific Blue Boy who owns a pair of red shorts.
Thee runs hot. He is quick-tempered. He is egoistical. He is arrogant. But he also, once again, is already deeply committed to making sure one specific Blue Boy is happy, even though he has no real idea how to achieve that.
But for this Blue Boy, he sure in the hell is gonna try to figure it out.
Because even with the distance Thee demands Mok keep from Peach, the Blue Boy is already wearing red shoes.
Perhaps he needs them to run to the fridge full of the color-coded product placement that his Red Rascal got him.
The fridge proves that Thee is excessive and a mess of a man, but he is trying to get one specific Blue Boy to like him in all the ways he knows how which is through his money and power.
Which means getting him a meaningful big bouquet with flowers from all seasons wrapped in a lovely blue paper.
I don't care what Aran says. This bouquet is beautiful, and Peach would have loved it . . . if he had realized it was for him, and not for Aran.
Which is the same issue Peach had in the first episode. Thee is trying to seduce Peach with all he has, but Peach isn't seeing Thee for who he is really is.
And that leads to Thee buying an entire world-class Italian restaurant to treat Peach to a meal only for Peach to send Aran on the date believing that Thee still wants him. The Audacity.
Yes, Thee used his money to try to impress Peach, which isn't good, but Peach is missing the important part by not attending this lunch: the table is smaller, the options are fewer, and the lighting is brighter. Thee learned from his mistakes during their first dinner and tried to improve.
But, luckily, Thee is a business man and turns this upset into a chance to ask Aran about his favorite subject — one specific Blue Boy.
So immediately after ditching Aran with his new restaurant, Thee goes to check on his Blue Boy who is doing what he does best—isolating himself in his house. Alone. With nobody else. Just him. Alone. By himself.
Which means Thee is going to do what he does best.
He walks straight into Peach's house where Peach is wearing the cutest blue slippers.
And is promptly given red slippers and a lecture about taking off his shoes in someone else's house.
And this intrusion allows Peach to see Thee differently. Thee comes across as a whole ass problem, but as Peach and Thee stand in Peach's color-coded kitchen of reds and blues, Peach seems to realize that Thee is a lot softer than he appears.
And I think it comes from his mother, a person who wasn't around when he was younger according to Mok.
I could be wrong, but Mok stated that soaps are based on people's real lives, and Thee's fascination with Shadow of Vengeful Love seems to go beyond the love of the story. Which is why I think the lead actress is his Red Rascal mother.
Once again, I could be wrong, but it would make sense that the only way Thee got to see his mother when he was a child was through a TV screen especially because Mok said that Thee could buy everything but "family and love."
We know his father is upset that Thee is serious about the perfume business, so what if his dad treats him like another business partner, and his mom treats him life a fan, but neither of them ever treated him like their child? It would make sense why Thee would rather fantasizes about wearing blue polka dot suits to impress his Blue Boy than stay firmly planted in reality.
Because (if I'm right) reality, for him, sucks! He is caged in by expectations and assumptions of what it means to be a mafia boss, when he is just a kid at heart.
So even though he missed the mark of being cool and casual when he went to eat with Peach by ordering his bodyguards to sit in the restaurant, they were all in blue and he didn't buy the place, so he is learning.
Little by little, through their interactions, Peach is going to strip Thee of his layers and finally see that Thee has far more depth than he originally thought.
Because without his gun, without his power, and without his money, Thee is just a kid with his fantasies, alone and exposed.
Nothing is black and white with him.

Thanks to everyone who still takes part in these tournaments and finds some joy in making impossible choices! You are all aces :) The next tournament might have to wait a little bit, I'm not sure when I'll have the time to set it up. But rest assured, it will happen! Lots of love, Tink
