I get constantly confused why people work out with rigid movement. I have combined press-ups and planks etc. All allowing movement, leaving no set of muscles fibres out. Move your exercise using ground reaction force, keep a few principles in place, no your range of movement, by using the whole body, you will take pressure off your back and shoulders. Work out with static mind, puts tension in unwanted places.
