5. If your Inquisitor was a force of nature, what kind would they be? (hurricane, earthquake, etc.)

Myszka: Flash flood. Myszka is like water–peaceful, graceful, and healing/life-giving because she’s extremely caring. But sometimes it gets too overwhelming; sometimes there’s too much caring, too much giving, and she becomes exhausted and overflows with problems of her own left uncared for.

Arla: Forest fire. The spread of a fire in a forest can depend on the weather (humid vs. dry). Likewise, Arla’s easily-triggered temper can be contained with the right words and the right company. If neither are available, her anger fuels itself. You really don’t want to get on her bad side.

6. What’s their alignment? (chaotic good, neutral evil, etc.)

Myszka: Somewhere between neutral good and true neutral. For the most part, Myszka is a follower, working for good and devoting herself to helping, but not mindlessly. She can criticize laws and people’s actions, but attempts to respect/understand the decisions and opinions of others as much as she can.

Arla: Chaotic neutral. Arla is extremely stubborn, preferring to stick with enabling companions and shutting out/antagonizing anyone who opposes her opinions. She hates being told what to do; it takes heavy persuasion and intense respect/a close friendship to deter her. Given her nature, she would likely have been killed/given to the re-educators at a young age if she were born under the Qun.

14. Do they have any hobbies?

Myszka: Dancing and fashion. If she wasn’t an elf, she would fit in perfectly at the Winter Palace. She specifically prefers dancing with intricate feet movements, but she can pick up and enjoy any sort of dancing with practice. As a Dalish, she was always fascinated with finer clothing, but she was never able to explore the hobby until the Inquisition. You can absolutely bet she’d go to Val Royeaux with Leliana just for shoe shopping, or trade tips with Dorian, or even consult Vivienne about her opinion on a dress she recently bought.

Arla: She enjoys things that keep her mind busy and working, despite her usual impatience. She doesn’t like long conversations or solutions that take ages, but she won’t mind sitting down for hours for a game of chess. Her favourite is reading, especially crime/mystery novels.

19. Do they have any scars? What are they from?

Myszka: There are a few, but she has two noticeable ones. The vertical one on the left side of her lip was from when her clan was separated/almost destroyed by a group of humans at a young age, and the scar leading from the base of her left thumb to the knuckle beneath her index finger was from an accident when she was learning how to use a bow.

Arla: A lot, though she’s managed to spare her face for the most part; she gets into a lot of physical fights despite being a mage. The crescent-shaped scar on the right side of her chin/on her jawline is from when she had a debacle involving fists with a fellow mercenary in Valo-Kas and they pulled a knife on her. She also has a handprint-like burn across her throat, from when her mother became an abomination.

10. Do they have any family? Niro’s parents died when she was young so she has no blood relatives. She considered her clan her family until the Dalish shunned her for being the Herald, which just made her feel abandoned and lonely and cast-out. Now she considers her companions and advisers her family since they’re the ones that picked her up after feeling so down.

11. Are they better with children, animals, or neither? Definitely animals. She loves the quieter and weirder animals (especially her drascolisk she loves that weird lizard with all her heart), but Mabari are starting to grow on her. She doesn’t understand why children (especially humans) are So Loud. 

17. Who do you think they’ll get along with best among their companions, if any? She likes to listen to Dorian and Varric just talk because they make it easy to listen. She relates to Dorian in feeling like a black-sheep and missing where they came from. Plus she just thinks Dorian is a really funny human because she knows some chatty humans but this one in particular is by far the chattiest. She likes Sera’s ability to help the people who most need it, but gets annoyed when Sera calls her stupid for being Dalish (whether Niro feels connected to them anymore or not). She gets along really well with Cassandra and admires her want to reform the Seekers. (her first 3 maxed out friendships in-game were Dorian, Sera, and Iron Bull)

20. If they met, how would your Inquisitor get along with your Warden? Your Hawke? (my warden was techinically Niro too oops) BUT my other warden Ara would probably tease Niro for being so quiet but overall they bond over their love for adorable chantry boys. And Niro liked Hawke but gets very confused at how talkative and hairy he is. Really. Humans are so weird.
