At the very top of this photo, on that cliff, you can see a frug. Now, here's a tale. On my way to Abergwyngregyn, I had to get down past the falls. I sensibly took a footpath around to the right. I had to clamber over some algae-slick sheets of rock. Then the path dipped down a slight cliffy bit, and up again. I didn't consider that this wasn't the right way, maybe because of the slick rock I'd just gone over. I expected a bad path. I clambered down this small cliffy bit, still high above the base of the falls, above a steep scree slope. I realised I was in a hole. I couldn't climb up the other side, but another little cliffy drop would take me onto the grass and stones where I could walk down to the path below. The cliff was about five feet. I started to try to clamber down, unbalanced by my heavy rucksack. Then I realised I was in an awful situation. I couldn't move. The slightest attempt to go up or down would make me fall. I didn't have a choice, really. I couldn't go up. I chose down. And I fell. It was spectacular, and I was spectacularly lucky. I didn't stop at the bottom of the cliff. I did a full aerial somersault. I landed on my right buttock. That was it. No death. No breaks. A bruised buttock. I took the photo from where I came to rest. I fell from near the dog. No phone signal, nothing. No one had seen me fall. But then a beautifully kind woman miraculously appeared in the path above and called down to see I was all right, and watched over me while I made my escape. And I'm alive. Walking can be dangerous. Sooooooooo.... July 4th, someone in MALAYSIA hacked my Switch account and set their Switch as the Primary one (probably hoping to get my CC info from the Nintendo eShop, joke's on them, I had an ancient expired card on there and a whole $1.83 in credit, which they left alone). I was able to get Nintendo customer service to set my Switch back to Primary, but sadly, I have been unable to set my profile nickname back to Doronjo. So if we were Switch friends, bbo is apparently me for now until I can figure out how to change it back.
