I was wondering if you could confirm that Leon actually does get younger after being injected with Elpis. He does look different, but I've seen people argue that's just because he's no longer sick and "feels better than he has in decades"

This is a bit of an interesting situatiom. Initially, everyone who got to play the game early and was posting the cutscenes and stuff online were reporting he *had* been de-aged, which was consistent with the similar stuff that happened with Jill. That said, getting to see the game for myself and in 4K now, its a bit unclear if he's actually de-aged or if he just looks younger because he's no longer dying of a virus. He's beautiful and he definitely looks younger than before, but to my knowledge nothing has been outright confirmed either way-- there's nothing that says he was de-aged or implies it, and there's nothing proving he wasn't either. So personally I'm gonna say he probably just *looks* younger that before due to no longer being sick and he just looks... really good for 49 lol. In 4K he looks more like early 30s to me but hey, evidently he's just got good generics.
