I hate, hate golden trio bashing fics. They have such a ride-and-die friendship like bro they raided a bank together then fled on a dragon they stuck together through so much — while having fights like normal friends do, but the best thing about them? been thinking a lot about hollanov petplay lately and have emerged enamored with the concept of ilya being just such an angel - i'm talking the sweetest, best good boy on the planet - he's giving paw and whatever other weird shit shane asks him to do because he loves getting his head and belly scratched and laying in the sun and getting loved up on and making his guy happy when he inevitably gets to launch into service top duties

meanwhile shane's years-long-contained freak ass is an absolute terror. he's tugging on his leash. he's biting the hand that pets. he's finding new and unique ways to be a problem just to see how ilya deals with him and wrangles him back down to good boy status because the attention is just so good and he can't possibly be held responsible for his actions nooo this isn't him, he's just a puppy - when this collar is on, the gloves are off babyyyy
