What even was the point of introducing Becker's crush on Hailey to immediately shoot that sucker down in Along For the Slide? With zero development whatsoever? It couldn't have been to establish Becker's sexuality since she pretty much instantly got a girlfriend.

Unless it's the most pointless, arbitrary bait on planet Earth, that crush is a Chekhov's Gun, babey. Hailey needs more character development before she's ready to date anyone and that crush from Catching Felines is far from dead yet.

When Hailey starts dating Scott, I feel like Becker will be her go to person to confide in about relationship issues. She is, from Hailey's perspective, her only friend who's not mixed up in some relationship drama with her, and if Kristine stops being friends with her, she'll be her only female friend, which we know is a thing that she wants because it's on her list. They might also wanna go on double dates with her since she's with Kennedy now.

And I feel like this is going to be really awkward for Becker, here's this girl she has a crush on, wanting to talk to her about how she's dating her brother. Plus, she'll be surrounded by people she can't talk to about this, she can't talk to her girlfriend about it, or her brother, and definitely not Hailey herself.

Bonus points if Hailey treats her like Kristine did. "Or should I call you sister, since Scott and I are full on dating".
