dgmw, I'm VERY happy we've gotten some cream and frosty content. and thank god bc it had honestly been quite long of a minute and i honestly believed they had been trashed.

but i wish it wasnt. that. five panels where cream is nothing more than her disorder. five arcs since we last heard frosty talking for more than one panel and the only thing these two have to discuss since nearly two years ago is cream's eating disorder. holy FUCK.

There's one minor nitpick i want to talk about, because it confused me a lot when rereading the askblog after the V5 ref sheets dropped. It took five volumes for barry to reach his final saturation. 6 years of sparklecare for the main character to become neon However when the chunklings got captured late in the evening at the end of volume two, in the asksparklecare askblog one of the character says that they've only been here since said evening. however they are already bright neon. The chunklings being side patients, it doesnt really surprise me that less care is being put in coherence details. not only that, but we really dont need to wait another six years to see a character reach their final palette. Also the fact that they'd already been in that hospital, knew how bad how things could get, and that they had bad copings which made them more likely to fall into their traumas again quicker. However, them going from super desaturated to sun-bright neon in less than AN EVENING?? whereas for barry it took multiple months of constant traumas, sickness and mutilation..? yeah no that shit doesnt make any sense

(miley didnt change color cuz she was still actively traumatized, but the others..? it's not like they got harmed again upon arriving to the hospital..right? (you cant declaw a racoon twice now can you. also they seem surprisingly chill and calm in that place, you'd imagine if they got chopped up in the previous hours or if the staff actively traumatized them they'd at least show physical signs of distress around them.) and even if they did, the countless operations barry went through werent enough to make him traumatized so why would one evening at the hospital be enough for the chunklings, who didnt seem to get harmed upon arrival, to be saturated again?)

There's like one bec fan here so you most likely know who i am. however if you dont, allow me to introduce myself a little more!

i am a minor (PROSHIT DNI), i'm also french so excuse any spelling mistakes when typing in english! this is my criticism/venting sideblog!! i don't have a lot to say that hasn't been said by other crits already, so i might not be the most active on here. however there are some things i want to say that may be a little too crit-ful for my main, so i'd rather post them here.

i don't condone harassment agaisnt kittycorn. you're entitled to your opinions but my account is not a battlefield about who you do or don't like and i'll stay firm on that matter; this blog is just a critic on the work not the people behind it. (update screw that shit fuck kit and her goons)

THIS BLOG IS NOT A SPARKLECARE HATEPAGE, I AM YOUR ALLY!! heck, if sparklecare wasnt my biggest fixation i wouldn't care about it's issues! the reason why i made this blog is because i believe sparklecare and it's AUs have a lot of potential and would love to see it be the best it can possibly be. it has many good ideas that i think could be improved, and i am here to share my opinions about these things that bug me that i would personally change! i will try to mostly make my criticism as contructive as can be, i aint here to aimlessly bash kc's work, rather to pin point what i believe should be changed to make sparklecare more enjoyable to the reader.
