best thing about having to make a trek to the queer clinic as a homebound person is the brief approximation of in-person queer community. both receptionists have immense magnificent gay voice. man's best friend (2025) on the speakers. transfem in the waiting room talking about monster. the stress ball to squeeze when getting blood drawn is in the shape of a peach with the clinic logo on it. someone made a giant dick complete with hairy balls on the floor out of tape in lieu of an arrow. trans man receptionist telling his coworker about how the girl he's talking to wants him to dress up as santa for her kid & he's like "okay but idk if my beard is long enough." thanks folks this oughta tide me over until i'm back in 6 months
