The bed runner quilt is all done. It is outside on the clothes line flapping about in the breeze. Hopefully when it is dry it will take on a slightly more crinkled look. It will be great in the winter as an extra layer and in the summer as the only layer. I have two blocks left over and have some ideas for those too so most of this ufo is now out of my sewing room.

It has been a busy evening. I spent and hour in the tiny gym working out and watching the rain lashing the window. We are being hit by yet more extreme weather. I did a 15 minute row on the rowing machine and listened to the rain pelting the roof. After dinner I retreated to the sewing room and closed the curtains on the weather. I trimmed up the bed runner and did a dive into the binding bin to see what binding I have. Maybe tomorrow I will get the binding sewn on.

The cricket is on so I am watching and making a quilt sandwich. Next up I will chuck a few pins in it to make sure it holds and it will be good to quilt. Looking forward to getting this UFO out of the sewing room.

I had plenty of binding and I got it half sewn on before running out of bobbin thread. I will finish sewing it on tomorrow.
