I have a list of favorite trees. Some people have a favorite mug, or a favorite book. Some have a favorite meal or favorite chair to relax in. I mean, I have those things also, but I wonder... do other people have favorite trees too? Mine stretch their roots along Kam Highway in Waikele and there's one along the north shore in Hawaii. There's one in Connecticut, and several here in New York. This one shown is the #BedfordOak and has stood tall and strong since the 1500s. I've stopped a handful of times just to stand beneath her and wonder what she's seen.
