(Bed Friend Episode 5 | Chapter 14, 15, and 16)

1. King's Potential Date

Series

King leaves Uea alone to answer his mom calling him. While waiting, Uea deals with his own mom who was pestering him. King goes back and tells Uea right away about why his mom called. King asks Uea if he should go or not. Uea evades the question but he eventually says "only you can make that decision, King."

Novel

King's leaves Uea to answer the call. He comes back with a sour expression. Uea asks if it was one of his ex-flings. King plays along and says yes. Uea wonders if they wanted to get back with him. King was like "something like that but I've made it clear I don't want to" and Uea was like "why?". King basically says, "bc if i did, then we'll have to end our relationship," then proceeds to tell Uea that it was his mom and she wanted to set him up on blind date. Rest goes the same.

2. Alone Time? (Uncut)

Series

Scene cuts to Uea and King leaving the car. Uea asks King if he wanted to be alone and King says no. Uea was about to argue but King kisses him.

Novel

After the call, King and Uea ate in silence. Even otw home, it was quiet. When they arrived at King's place, Uea asks King if he wanted to be alone. King says no. As soon as they came into King's room, King pushed Uea to the wall and kissed him roughly. Ends up having rough sex.

3. King Apologizing

Series

King is sitting on his bed while Uea is sitting on a chair across him. King checked on Uea, asking if he was hurt. He apologizes and Uea was like "it's fine". King was about to leave to smoke but Uea stops and tells him not to do it anymore. King kisses him two times and agrees.

Novel

They are on the bed cuddling after sex. King apologized for being too rough and Uea said "it's fine." King pulled away and left the bed to smoke. Uea pulled him back and asked him not to do it. King agreed and went back to cuddling Uea. They fell asleep.

4. The Bet

Series

They are in a bar (not sure) with other people watching the game. They make a bet and King wins. Uea attempts to run away but King pulls him back. He asks King what he wanted but King couldn't think of any so he was like "can I tell you later?"

Novel

They watch the game in Uea's place, just the two of them. The made a bet and King won. King asked Uea to sit on his lap (they were both sitting on the sofa). King buried his face on Uea neck and wrapped his arms around Uea face. Ues thought that this sex is the reward King wanted so he tilted his neck to give King more access. From Uea's neck, King moved to Uea cheek planting kisses otw before tenderly kissing Uea on the lips. King pulled right away and said that he couldn't think of anything atm for Uea to do, so they go to sleep.

1) Uea's Birthday: Home

Series

Tonkhao asks Uea to go home for his birthday. He did so for the sake of his sister and believing that his mom finally cares about him. Unfortunately, his mom still treats him like shit and his step-dad still have hots for him.

Novel

Tonkhao asks Uea to go home, saying that their mom is looking for him and that she hasn't seen him for months. He never received any birthday wish from his mom, even more so remember his birthday. Asking him to go home made him think that his mom still cares for him, so he went home. He then learns that his mom only wanted him home bc she wanted money which made him mad. His step-dad being there wasn't helping either, so it was hell house. Worst birthday for sure.

2) Uea's past with step-dad

Series

Sorn goes into Uea's room and sexually assault him, trying to make out with Uea who was sleeping. Uea wakes up and defends himself with scissors. Leaves his room and tells his mom what happened. Mom thought he was speaking nonsense. Basically sided her second husband and didn't believe her son. Locks him in the bathroom instead.

Novel

It happened when Uea was in high school. Uea goes home, tired from school so he fell asleep on the couch. Wokes up to Sorn touching his ass. Tell his mom and same thing happened: sides with her husband and lock Uea in the bathroom.

3) Uea's Birthday: Present

Series

After leaving his home, Uea calls King and seeks out comfort from him. King noticed the he wasn't okay and tell him to take a shower to make him feel better. While Uea was soaked in the tub, King comes in with a cake and greets Uea a happy birthday. They have sex after.

Novel

After leaving his home, Uea calls King to get his 'present'. Prior to this, King greets Uea HBD and says he doesn't have a gift for him and was like "can I give myself as a present instead?". Hence, the 'present'.

While they were making out, King noticed Uea looks a bit stressed and asks if he was okay. Uea was like "a little bit" and asks King to relieve his stress. King agrees and they continue making out. Round one done.

King asks Uea if he wanted to tell him something. Uea opens up and tells King that he went home. King didn't push further as he knew that 'home' and 'family' is a sensitive topic for Uea. Instead, he goes:

"We've got four more hours until your birthday ends. I'll keep giving you your present until the end of your birthday, shall I?...Happy birthday."

Then kisses him. Uea tears up because King, who was just his coworker/friend, cared more for him than his own mother.

4) Company trip room arrangement

Series

King asks Jade to take responsibility of wounded Gun and have them stay and room together. That way, Uea rooms together with King instead of Jade.

Novel (MDL Spoilers)

MaiJade are already a couple when the company trip happened. By default, they go together. However, Jade was worried about KingUea fighting and suggests that King stays with Mai while him and Uea stay together. King then goes "have you even asked your bf who he wanted to sleep with?" and assures Jade that him and Uea won't kill each other. Uea hesitantly agreed.

(Bed Friend Episode 7 | Chapter 18 and 19)

1. KingUea Confrontation

Series

After being harassed, Uea leaves the room and goes down the stairs to find King staring at him with teary eyes. King basically blames Uea and implies that something might’ve happened between him and Krit bc they were alone in the office. Uea told King that if this is the way how King cares for him, then King should just stop it. King apologizes and agrees, then leaves Uea alone and heartbroken.

Novel

After talking to Krit abt “work”, Uea left the office and went to their dept where he found King waiting for him. They went to the parking lot and was abt to go home when King questioned Uea abt why did he go in despite telling King to not be alone with Krit as much as possible. King pressed on and said that Krit could’ve taken advantage of him right there. Uea reiterated that he could just not avoid their manager like that. Things escalated and King went to defend himself, clarifying that he was just being worried abt Uea. That the reason he stayed late with Uea was bc he didn’t want Uea to be alone with Krit. Yet it’s Uea himself who walked into Krit’s office. Alone. He sounded like he was scolding Uea so Uea snapped, sticking with his reason that it was inevitable to ignore their manager like that. He went on and questioned what’s wrong with King and why he is raising his voice with him. King told him that he went crazy for worrying and apologized before leaving Uea alone in the parking lot, crying and broken-hearted.

2. Uea and Uea’s Parent Confrontation

Series

Uea deals with his parents after Krit left their home. Uea exclaimed that his mom’s new husband is not his dad, which made his mom mad, calling him an ungrateful btch. Uea then questions his “dad” abt ever feeling guilty abt molesting him. And then his mom for protecting his “dad” and not caring for his feelings. His mom then tells him that she wished that he never existed in the first place bc he brought so much trouble in her life. Uea comes to terms with it and said if he had a choice, he wouldn’t want to live like he did. He storms out after and goes to seek Jade for comfort.

Novel

Same thing happened, but the series left a detail which talked abt the other reason why Uea’s mom hates Uea. After questioning his “dad”, Uea faced his mom and asked her if she ever cared abt him at all. If she even thought abt him outside the money stuff. He also asked her why she hates him so much. Uea learned that his mom hates not only him, but also his biological father. She told him that he was a mistake and that she was forced to marry his dad. That his dad has the audacity to ask her to be his wife despite not working hard. Despite being a lazy bastard, he told her how much he loved her and all of that. But in the end, he cheated and had an affair with a rich lover. He left her to have that comfortable life, while she is left with Uea, who she saw as a burden. She proceeded to tell Uea that if she didn’t have him, she didn’t have to work hard. On top of that, she pushed on telling him how he embarrassed her bc he grew up being gay and that he has done nothing that she could be proud of. Uea told her that she doesn't have to worry abt him anymore and that there will no longer be a “burden” in her life from that point. Uea left after that.

3. A Best Friend’s Comfort

Series

Set in Jade’s place. After learning what happened, Jade actually looked pretty chill, but still sympathised with what happened to Uea. He suggests abt telling what happened to the higher ups. Uea quickly tells him that they won’t side with them. They then talk abt the family situation. Uea tell Jade that he doesn't want to talk abt it yet. Jade nods and doesn’t push any further, settling with “I’ll stay by your side, Uea.”

Novel

Set in Uea’s place. Jade, along with Mai, drove to Uea’s condo. Mai stayed at the lobby while Jade went with Uea. Uea told Jade everything that happened – his fight with King, Krit’s harassment, and the family problem – without exposing his actual relationship with King. Jade was pissed and frustrated (he’s already despised Krit since he took over the position that should’ve belonged to Bas so this was the last straw ig). They talked abt the family situation and ended it the same way as the series.

4. Resignation

Series

Uea is out of town when he calls Jade. He tells Jade to submit the letter on his desk to the HR. Jade wonders why Uea is the one to leave and not Krit. Uea tells Jade that Krit’s power only works in the office and that if he removes himself from that, Krit wouldn’t be able to touch Uea. Jade understands and lets Uea go. Uea then texts King abt how sorry he was for being rude and that he knows King was worried. Uea also mentions how grateful he is for King caring abt him and how he appreciates King always staying by his side. Ends with Uea telling King their FWB relationship is now done.

Novel

Uea was in the airport when he called Jade. Jade refused to give the letter to the HR bc it was all of the sudden, but after hearing Uea’s reason, he agreed. Jade learned that Uea was at the airport and panicked and asked Uea where he was going. Uea evaded the question and told Jade to wait until he settled down to where he was staying. Ended the call, then texted King the same thing.

"Uea?" Uea can feel King on top of him, but his voice seems too far.

Uea tilts his head towards where he thinks King is, looking at his direction with cloudy eyes.

"There you are." King softly says, gently caressing Uea's cheek. "I thought I lost you there."

"King?" Uea calls with a raspy and weak voice.

"I'm here, babe." King assures him as he slowly rolls his hips, letting Uea know that they are still connected.

Uea breathe hitches, clutching King's naked back due to oversensitivity.

"I'm sorry, sweetheart." King whispers before placing a light kiss on Uea's lips. "You are doing really well."

King praises as he nuzzles Uea's cheek, his thumbs softly rubbing Uea's sides.

Uea's gaze remains on King as he tries to focus on himself, concentrating on getting himself back down from the wave of pleasure that had hit him. He takes a deep breathe before tilting his head towards King.

King immediately gets what he means and leans closer to capture his lips in a intimate kiss. They kiss slowly, savoring each other's taste, and feeling each other's warmth.

King starts to move minutely, his hips flushed against Uea. Uea trembles, causing him to clench around King.

King grumbles and stays still before pulling away, taking in Uea's expression of sheer pleasure.

What a beautiful view. He thought.

Uea opens his eyes, tears pooling at the corner. He shakes his head and looks at King pitifully.

"Too much. I'm sorry." Uea says in a low voice, feeling bad for King.

The pleasure King had just given to him is still lingering and he couldn't handle the overstimulation while King tries to make himself come.

King runs his finger through Uea's hair, brushing away the fallen strands framing Uea's face away.

"It's okay." King caresses Uea flushed cheeks. "Do you want me to pull out?"

Uea shakes his head, before pulling King down on him.

"I want you close." Uea tightens his embrace on King, making them closer than ever before.

With Uea's embrace, King couldn't move so he buries his face on Uea's neck and plants small, wet kisses on there. Uea sighs and tilts his head, giving King more access to his sensitive spot.

"More, please." Uea gasps as he feels King lightly bit his skin before soothing it with his tongue.

King hugs Uea by the waist, making Uea arch his back, leaving no space in between them, their hips perfectly snug with each other.

King loves moments like this the most.

Through this, he could taste Uea's sweet lips, take his time, and claim it as his without any repercussions.

Through this, he could feel how Uea's familiar presence gives him comfort and serenity.

Through this, he could see how Uea's walls break down, allowing him to see him be vulnerable and open.

Through this, he could hear the loud beating of Uea's heart, asking to be let out, asking to be taken care of, asking to be loved.

Through this, he allows himself to delude that the beautiful person in front of him isn't just a friend. It's Uea.

His Uea.

King continued nipping Uea's neck before going up and taking in Uea's already swollen lips in a chaste kiss.

The sound of Uea's moaning echoed throughout the room. Uea had given a signal a few minutes ago and King took it as a sign to continue.

King takes in the sight of the man in front of him.

Uea's hair is messy, lips red and swollen, cheeks flushed with heat, jaw slacked open and tears threatening to fall from the corner of his eyes.

Yet he looked beautiful and majestic to King.

"King, ah!" Uea sobs as King repeatedly abused that spot with hard thrusts, he could do nothing but clutch the sheet underneath him. "'m close."

"Me too." King whispers, leaning down to place a light kiss on Uea's mouth. "Just a few more, okay?"

Uea nods, tears falling down his cheeks out of pleasure.

King continued snapping his hips and few more thrusts later, Uea trembles as he comes, white liquid hitting his own stomach. Soon after, King followed, releasing his come in the condom.

Then it was silence. Only their loud breathing as they catch their breath can be heard in the room.

King pulls away, but still remains inside Uea. Uea looks at him with a tired yet soft eyes.

"Hi." King smiles lovingly.

/I love you./

"Hi." Uea replies in a low, hoarse voice as he gently rub King's neck with his thumb.

/I love you too./

"Wanna take a dip and shower after?" King asks as he pulls out of Uea.

/Stay with me?/

"Sure." Uea tries sitting up, but immediately gave up when he felt a pain shot up fron his spine. King chuckles.

/I will./

"Right now?" King asks, already having Uea in his arms on the way to the bathroom.

/Forever?/

"Right now." Uea grumbles with knitted eyebrows. King laughs at his expression before planting a kiss on his forehead.

/Forever./

They'll eventually get there.

(1) Ideal Type

Novel

They were in the office. Gun asks King if he has any specific type when choosing someone for one night stand. King says nothing at first because to him, it was just one night stand. He later changed his answer and said that his type is "Someone who looks naturally sexy without having to make an effort to...who just sits there and attract me. I like someone like that."

Then Gun asks Uea, who was listening to them, what his is. "Someone who's not a player." He answers.

Series

Gun and King are at the bar. King asks Gun what his ideal type is. Gun mentions someone from their company. King learns that Gun finds Uea cute.

(2) Uea's Mom Calling

Novel

In the bathroom. King telling Uea to go ahead to his condo and he'll just follow later. Uea is upset and argues that King shouldn't go because King was being annoying and touchy with him in the office prior. King apologizes, but Uea reprimands him. Suddenly, Uea's mom calls and bombards him with texts, telling him to go home. Uea doesn't answer. Uea allows King to go and meet him at his condo for late night activities lol

Series

Somewhere in the company. They were alone together (probably having a private conversation) when Uea's mom called for the same reason. Uea doesn't answer. Tells King to go to his condo.

(3) King's Jealousy

Novel

Mai (Jade's love interest) was asking Uea to check his work and if he needed to correct anything. Segues into asking about Jade's fave food. King and Jade arrive in the department. Jade asks Uea what they were talking about while King asks Uea through text message.

"Why do you have to know?"

"I just want to. Can I?"

"Stop texting me. Go back to work."

"If I told you I was jealous, would you tell me?"

"Don't make a joke about it. I don't like it."

Series

King goes to the pantry and sees Uea and Gun close to each other. He remembers that Gun finds Uea cute. Pulls them apart and drags Uea to the printer room. They basically had the same conversation, but King was hurt and got upset. They had makeup sex later 😏

(4) Pock Harassing Uea

Novel

King, Uea, and Mai were on the way to the office after lunch when someone calls King. King excuses himself. Uea asks Mai a question and he was about to answer when Pock comes in, screaming Uea's name and making a scene. Uea tells him to leave and that he already has a boyfriend. Gets Mai to pretend as one. Pock doesn't believe them until Mai threatened (kind of) him. Pock got furious and was about to punch Mai but the guards came in and drag him out of there.

Series

Pock comes to the parking lot and harasses Uea into coming back to him. Jade arrives when a bystander called him. Jade tries to help Uea out of there but both were defenseless lol Jade runs away to call the guards. Pock leaves on his own.

(5) After The Incident

Novel

Mai and Uea heads to their department. Jade and Gun come in minutes later. Jade asks King where he was and tells Uea that he got harassed by his ex. King learns through Gun that Uea got Mai as his pretend boyfriend. King suggeststhat they should report the ex. Fast forward to after work, King talks to Uea and warns him that his ex might follow him to his condo. King offers his condo for Uea to stay in temporarily.

Series

Jade and Gun was comforting Uea when King came in, overhearing their conversation. King learns Uea got harassed by his ex through Jade. It was also Jade who warns Uea that Pock might follow him to his condo. King was later seen suggesting that Uea can stay at his condo.
