Finally back on working on this painting of Sunny Day Jack!

Still debating if I actually do want to create the N*S*F*W version, or only release the pants on version.

Finally finished his hair, though! In this house, we are religious to using triadic complementary colors when painting… adds a pop of extra color, hence the use of lime and magenta in his blue hair.

And YEP, we still using ArtRage when using the laptop! Nothing beats their oil brush and canvas settings… NOTHING. 💜🖌️🎨

Trying some Love and Deepspace art, starting with chibi merman Rafayel.

We don’t know that he’s absolutely a merman juuuust yet, the game’s main story hasn’t gotten there YET.

But it IS leaning towards that! And I’ve been itching to draw a merman Rafayel for a hot minute now.

Not what to do for Xavier and Zayne just yet, though.

My own take on chibi Rafayel as a merman, from the game, “Love and Deepspace”.

Yes, I know his underwater story was released recently, and he has several red & blue markings, plus different jewelry, but let’s just say that his tail colors were inspired by his clothes instead. 😅 This was started before that release.

Busting out ArtRage and my old Intuous (have to get an adapter for the Cintique to work with the laptop. Grrr.).

Feels good to work in this again, and have a shit load more layers available to me. Aaand access to pinned reference material.

And YES… Sunny Day Jack is happening.

Recently, Cardlin decided to have a sona made of himself, that represents himself a bit more. That would be JC!

Since that introduction, I’ve been itching to draw my own take on JC, in traditional mediums.

I said I was going to start re-using my Tumblr account, and use it I SHALL!

So, I’ve been working a LOT with Press Start to Laugh (linkage to his channel below), and he has been giving me a LOT of chances to branch out beyond just drawing fit, muscley, hawt guys who gaze longingly into your soul.

Chances to draw different body types, different ages, advance my own style further. And even though the color style is super simple, I’d have to say this man here has become my favorite recent piece.

He’s for Brad’s FNAF 2 video, as the night guard. And since we have NO idea what the majority of the FNAF night guards actually look like, we have the freedom to design them as we like.

And from my brain came this sweet guy. Yes, I DO want to do something with him later on down the line, because he’d be sweet, funny as hell, able to survive anything (if he can survive Mangle, and Balloon Boys obsession with batteries, he can do anything! XD).
