Eyes fixated themselves on shelves which were filled to the brim with a variety of recognizable junk food labels, all of which Doojoon would have claimed as the very thing he craved only weeks prior. Ever since the date of their comeback was set, their managers were keen on making sure that each of them stayed away from foods such as this; who could blame him for drooling upon getting so close to the forbidden? Not him–no, definitely not him. Silence followed the girl’s last statement due to the newly found distraction and, with a thick swallow, he finally brought himself back into the reality of his position. It had only been a week since his group started promoting, and he knew there were more to come, but the sound of a hundred cookies had sounded so tempting that he found himself walking away from the bags of chips and towards the bakery instead. “How dare you compare the sweetness of cookies to the bitterness of vodka?” Boyishly, the bridge of his nose wrinkled as he took the liberty to scan the shelves he passed by, though only to confirm his thoughts–nothing better than cookies.
“I hope you don’t regret saying such a big number. They might give me extra for buying so many cookies at once.” He snickered, the sweet smell of the bakery causing his stomach to twist against itself–he had forgotten to eat any of his meals that day and to indulge on nothing but sweets had always been a dream of his former, much younger, self. Who was Yoon Doojoon to let himself down?
There were never be a place so lovely to Yoona’s heart as sweets. Either cookies, candies, cakes, or dairy beverages. The tall girl had possessed such partiality when it came to those ever since she was born, probably. She loved them so much that it had reached the level where she just had to consume either one of them every day.
“Eeey, I only said that because you’ve promised to bring me cookies days ago and forgot about it! Now you have to buy more for me, oppa.” she babbled on the phone, her girlish giggle followed; she could hear her friend threw a sigh of distress on the other line. Despite their age gap and status in the music industry, she was glad that the both of them could finally passed the formal stage after a few months of building their friendship. It was easier that way for Yoona to joke around with Doojoon. “Besides, BEAST is having a major comeback this month. So let’s consider this as you treating me a meal for the trophies you’ve won, yes?” she added, grinning cheekily although the other party couldn’t see it. “What are you buying for me? Are you in the cake shop already?”
