You know, l, more fool me, I genuinely thought that George was just being inappropriate about Mia's instagram. Like, many such cases. But I did not imagine he was actually having a fair with her young employee right under her nose! That's so bold and insane! What in the arrested development makes him have anything at all in common with a what, 22 year old? 22 year olds on my blog, i love an affirm you but you are also beautiful space aliens.

And they are fucking on every surface, all over the house, and for Amy, of course this is not even REALLY about desire. Or at least, not about sexual desire. This is about her wanting to destroy her life, wanting to exert control, wanting to have some kind of agency in her own house where she feels like a prisoner. It's about sexuality as power, and as her getting to make choices in her own home even if they're' wrong.
And so, again, poor fucking Paul, this is not about him or for him at all. He, I think, genuinely likes Amy, and we can talk about how naive that is all day long, but it is true. I think Paul is, in most ways, genuinely doing his best. But he cannot see what Amy is doing here, and frankly I thjink if you told him, he wouldn't listen.
In the early days of this show, i talked about her masturbating with the gun and how it was about the eroticizing of her own self-destruction, and it's the same thing here, only Paul is her gun, and the notion of destroying her own life has taken on another tone.
And he'll even eat you out! He's a courteous lover!
IN THE MOST PREDICTABLE TWIST POSSIBLE, AMY IS ACTING STUPID.
