I thought it be funny to draw my guy as a child interacting with his daughter Asta.
Edwin has a random inharent trust in the raven that follows him and he has no idea why.
I totally remembered to post this morning. You didn't see anything late. Hahahaha-
Anyway, have Asta in a rain coat.
This is Asta. She is the girl the party picked up after her last family member died. My guy is pretty protective of her. She is fairly attached to him. Their goal is to bring her to a new family so my guy's job and other horrible people don't take her in. Which is why my character was initially so invested in keeping her safe. She is starting to view him like a father though. When he admitted they were trying to get her a new family she got upset that she wasn't staying with them. My guy felt really bad and feels super conflicted right now as he does not know what is safer. Viewing himself as dangerous. But at the same time, how can he keep her safe if he is gone? To him, she had a point.

Here is Edwin and the child that is slowly adopting him as her dad. It is working. With each day he becomes more dad. In a recent RP between sessions. She told him she didn't want to leave the party and that she didn't want a new parent she wanted him.
Another player is using her against him though for revenge. I do not know how but I worry. She won't be physically hurt, but she is definitely being manipulated.
My guy messed up. He then realised he was alot more screwed then he thought he was. He broke one of the bigger rules for his workplace. Reported himself, in which his boss replied “you will be dealt with accordingly”. Now when he got the reply, he was holding a kid he has just recently taken into his care to help find a new parent.
This is actively going against and done to keep her away from his job. Which is just as bad of an infraction as what he just reported himself for, if not a bigger one. So he is realising, he is alot more screwed then he thought he would be if they learn about her. Not to mention, if they do, it is very likely they will force him to make her one of them. The very thing he is trying to avoid.
So theoretically, within one moment. Within one split choice to offer a hand of protection to a random child. My character has changed his situation DRASTICALLY. Going from the most deticated workers, to one of the ones who has committed the most egregious sins he could in the eyes of his job.
