This human honeycomb print will finally be available next Monday, exclusively through @houseofroulx! I don’t make prints very often these days so I try to do something special when I do- there will also be 5 unique variants with hand cut additions, each one of a kind, as well as two cut and layered variants in shadow box frames. If it isn’t obvious by now, I’m pretty excited about this one. . . . . #humanhoneycomb #hivemind #beeinyourbonnet #prints #handcutpaper #collageart #illustration #portrait #tunnelvision #lace #surrealism #popsurrealism #darksurrealism #dorksurrealism
Here is another tribute to a fic I'm loving "By Hook or By Crook" by @beeeinyourbonnet
If anyone else fancies a fan collage/ tribute/ cover to a rumbelle/anyelle fic, send me a message
A HYPHEN CONNECTS WORDS AND AN EM DASH SEPARATES CLAUSES
Thank you for this information!
Also, I wondered why I'd never really known what em dashes were for so I looked it up and I see this is another US/UK difference. Apaprently em dashes are rarely used in British English and we would use an en dash in places where Americans would use an em dash.
So my real problem is that I can never tell the difference between a hyphen and an en dash and I feel like that's more understandable! 😂

Thanks for the ask, I love answering questions like these, so without further preamble...
💪What motivates you to write?
Do you mean in general or in specific instances? In general it is my love of creativity, of seeing an idea I had come to fruition; of spinning and crafting the ins and outs, the twists and turns that make the story compelling (I hope) and unique.
In specific instances, like most writers, engagement is a huge motivator. If someone comments on a fic, it gets my brain whirling on what comes next in that fic, and I end up wanting to write more. If I see a lot of people are enjoying a fic, because I'm a people-pleaser, I'll want to write more. If the background (or the source text) is current - by which I mean if my brain is in ADHD hyperfixated mode on a particular subject, that can be a motivator, as well is if I'm writing for a show that's currently airing, I'm often motivated to write because I want to stay one step ahead of the show... just in case. True story: one of my fandoms is Stargate - specifically Atlantis, and Universe. When it came to the end of SGA season 4 I just... KNEW I wasn't going to like the direction canon was going to take the show (and boy was I ever right) and so being the rottweiler that I am, I set out to write my own 'virtual season 5.' I was bound and determined to have the first story of that posted before the show's first season five episode aired. I managed. JUST... like I was a day or something before the start of the season. I soon got behind, but that didn't matter. My fic was out there and my season was well under way. It was a long while ago, and I posted it to 'that fan fiction site we don't talk about any more', and also to my own website (long since taken down because I moved countries). Recently - well, in the last year or so - I started reposting it to AO3. The first 'episode' is up (Harm's Way), and I started posting the second one (Chain of Command). Which reminds me... I must post the next chapter of that fic).
See... engagement brings motivation. (Thank you!)
🛌 What’s a trope you haven’t written, but want to?
I had to think really hard about this one, and even look up a list and read through it to find something I've not written that might even appeal to me. I think maybe a 'fake relationship/fake dating' kind of thing might be fun to do... but I'm not sure. Gotta get through some of my WIPs first I think. LOL
🌷What’s one of your fics that isn’t as popular, but you hold dear?
Another one I had to think about really hard. I think Hatter would be the fic I'd name. Written as the 8th fic in the Lover's Leap series, I like this one because it has not one but TWO mad hatters in it. It introduces the Wonderland crossover that I'm using in Modern Wonders, which is a crossover with the 2009 SyFy TV show called Alice, and just was a riot to write (as is MW).
Thank you for the ask!
