When Eb ran away(? I think I recall seeing a post surround such) had anyone ever looked for her? She looked pretty young when she ran, so I was always assuming at least a teacher or an adult from outside of her family would notice her gone.

What was Eb’s mother like?

She tried to love her child but she was too ill to properly be there for her. She tried, she really did, but by the time Eb was institutionalized, she couldn't keep doing it anymore.

Did Ebony change her name when she started her work or was it just a thing that stuck when she was younger?

She changed her name shortly after Louis took her in!
