I bought a new silly little notebook today for $5.75 and have made a drawing and laid down the bones of a poem for the first time in a long while

You know, i love going to my local coffee shop in my lil shopping centre. You know why?, im a regular. I treat the ladies with respect, as I always make a note to treat others how I want to be treated!. Even when im in a bad mood I always will be nice to them.

Funny story, I meet some people there that now always sit with me when they have a chance. Plus I find customers to buy my cookies there too. Well only once they found out I make shortbread🤣🤣

So, I have a huge question. I was talking with some classmates, I wouldn't call them my friends, I really don't Have anyone in school. The thing is, we where talking, and the think been nice is dumb, because you should treat people how they treat you. I disagree, I think been nice is OK, but I'm sure they think I'm stupid. The criticized everyone, and I hate that. I think they are sometimes really mean. My question is, are they correct? Am I dumb for been nice with people are terrible with me? I'm so confused.
