Alpha goes to Washington
—As if one Dollhouse wasn’t trouble enough. —We should have known Rossum wouldn’t sit and let those fools alone try to handle us. —Yes, yes, but what an insult that they thought they could do it with just some dolls.
Alpha had made clear when those bodies showed up the DC Dollhouse would not make the mistake of underestimating him again. Normally, he’d let that be a tactical advantage —Let the enemy misjudge you, then catch them by surprise. But by his calculations, those bodies, though they’d be looking for them, wouldn’t show up for another two days. And even if they did find them now, —Well, who doesn’t love a challenge. —Or a chance to slaughter some scared little piggies.
And now he sat, having broken in undetected (obviously) in the tech head’s office of the DC Dollhouse. He heard the door open and stood to greet the apparently brilliant young woman.
"So!" he began, emerging once he saw she was alone and seeking that look he loved so much of shock and possibly fear if she knew who he was, "This is the fabled brilliant Miss Bennett Halverson. I must say… It is a pleasure to meet you."
