Last week we presented a few beer-labels designs by members of the Wood Engravers’ Network (WEN) on posters designed by members of the Asheville BookWorks Co-op (ABC) from our portfolio Beer City Prints 2012, published in Asheville, N. C., a place known as “Beer City.”  This week, we bring you a few more examples.

Stitched beer labels. I removed the original labels and made some new ones out of fabric. I used a sort of paper appliqué method on top of that. I always choose to leave the strands of thread as I think they look better. And, yes, the beer is still inside the bottles. 🕊️

A beer label celebrating 100 years since the first Hereford cattle were imported to New Zealand in 1869 by sailing ship from England. These cattle were brought in by R & E McLean of Bleak House, Howick, Auckland.
