We are pleased to announce that the trip of watercolours will continue and part of the 7th International Watercolor Biennial "Baltic Bridges. 2018. Indeed" soon will be represented in the museum of Janina Monkute-Marks in Kedainiai.
Watercolour exhibition "The Echo of Centenaries" is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the restoration of Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian states, and the 50th anniversary of the first international exhibition of watercolors in the Baltic States in 1968 in Riga (Latvia) which we were celebrating in 2018.
From January 17 until March 2, 2019 the artworks of Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian artists will be exhibited in the magnificent halls of the museum.Visitors will have access to the watercolors by 15 artists’, reflecting the peculiarities of national schools and demonstrating authors' mastery and dedication to chosen technique of watercolor.
