It's finally Cask Wednesday! Today we'll be pulling "Hibiscus Haze" Hazy IPA (7.2%) ft. Citra hops & Hibiscus flowers. Expect ripe citrus notes, an earthy/dank undertone, and a bright floral note over a moderately bitter finish. This is a 5 gallon firkin that we're pulling on the beer engine and due to the limited volume, it may not make it through the day. These firkins tend to go FAST. It's also Key Mason Wednesday as our VIPs cash in on their complementary weekly pint. The tap room is always busy on Wednesdays and we expect today to be no different. We officially have a beer engine!!! Now we can marry the traditional pub experience of yore with an incredible variety of classic and modern styles. First up: One really T H I C C B O I... Cask conditioned "Hoppy Little Accident" Imperial Spiced Brown Porter (11.2%) brewed with cinnamon and dry hopped with Sabro. Thick, brown, viscous, rich, chocolatey, spiced... and a few more hops than is traditional. We have but a single cask and we'll be pulling it this afternoon until it's gone. We'd like to extend an extremely heartfelt thank you to not-so-mysterious benefactor Curt Harpold, who has been dying to drink cask beer in the tap room since we opened. Your generosity in donating this amazing new addition to our tap room is going to bring joy (and a whole bunch of fun new beers) to many a guest over the lifetime of this establishment.
