Somebody take this goddamn app away from me

Alternate Universe in which Kluen accidentally slaps Beer on the back of the head instead of Peem, and joins the volunteer camp to get closer to him but Phum still thinks Kluen is after Peem and Kleun thinks Phum is serving the role of an overprotective best friend for Beer so Kluen isn't taking Phum seriously and keeps trying to get on good terms with Phum which in turn causes Peem to think Kluen is moving in on Phum all while Beer is a trying use his one braincell to help the situation.

Beer has always planned surprises for Phum on his birthday. Be it a gift, be it a cake, be it them hanging out at a new place Beer thinks Phum might like. But there has always been some sort of an effort from Beer's side on Phum's birthday. And Phum has always appreciated and returned the effort when his turn comes around.

Except, this year as they turn 25, Phum wants to do more than the usual gift and being involved in the usual get together for Beer's party. So a group chat is made and it is named and Peem says that this is a great idea so Phum is lowkey proud.

And keeping a secret from Beer isn't that hard. Right? Theyre all great at secrets.

Except Peem just had to go and tell this to his new best friend. Except this new best friend would love to get involved in the planning too. Except Phum is certain that there are ulterior motives to this best friend's actions and that is because it is Kluen.

"He is still trying to hit on you."

"You have no idea what you're talking about."

So they plan, and Phum keeps spamming the chat with one word texts instead of sentences, and it may be because its fun when it causes everybody to accidentally ignore Kluen's para texts.

Except "Wait, Kluen. That's actually a really good idea." Chain says.

Now theyre going by Phum's venue and theme but the cake is still from the bakery Kluen suggested and the decoration is completely being taken over by the architecture and arts guys that the engineers find nothing to do but be mental support for their boyfriends. Or rather for Phum who is still fuming that his best friend's birthday party is being hijacked in this utterly nasty manner and his boyfriend is being flirted with and this is turning out exactly like Phum had feared it would.

Beer arrives at the scene and their ar ethe wishes and the yada yadas and the blah blahs and now the presents because this is where Kluen will not stomp on Phum's dreams.

A customized jacket from Beer's favourite band. Beer gasps and everybody has expressions of utter exasperation. "How did you manage this??" "How much did it cost?" The works roll as Beer beams while wearing his new piece of clothing.

The last gift is a card with a small box attached.

Something lights up in Phum's eyes when he realises its from Kluen. Maybe because the card seems too simple, too lacking in grandeur of things, too less. Maybe because he sees Beer's expression become a little weaker by the second as his eyes travel down the inner pages.

Except the very next second Beer is whispering yes, saying yes, shouting yes and Kluen is matching the volume with every beat. Theyre kissing now, its much more shameless than it was with Chain and Pun because even they look scandalized right now.

"Be my boyfriend?" The card reads on the coffee table. And Phum realises Kluen is never gonna leave his life.

Thinking about Beer and Kluen having a bet box while they predict everything. Everything.

Q and Toey's first trip location? Beer won that one because he's been listening to Toey yap about his shopping list for many months now.

The number of rooms in Peem and Phum's beach house? Kluen's architecture eye.

Tan and Fang's puppy's name? Some past life intervention may have told Beer about it being Lucky.

The box is actually discovered by Chain who now occasionally joins them like the secret third choice. So far, amongst them, there has been an exchange of a lot of emergency food deliveries, restaurant reservations, date reminders, snacks, and dares to mess with the rest of them.

I realized with Beer being an engineering major and Kluen being an architecture major, my BeerKluen ghostship would be a power couple and get into some ridiculous arguments.

Decided my proposal for a We Are Series ghostship is Beer and Kleun. They could make a very chill couple.

#they might seem boring as a concept but that is why i love the idea of them getting together #imagine with me:#we all agree beer deserves good things #through his his screentime kluen was shown to be a green flag but he had a crush on the wrong person to have a crush on #so beer and kluen meet again independent of the group similarly to the beer and peem interaction #beer makes a comment on kluen disappearing after the volunteer camp and kluen awkwardly says he joined to hit on peem and beer sympathizes #they eat together and talk about the volunteer camp further and beer comments on how jealous phum was of kluen #kluen is in disbelief phumpeem aren't together yet and beer laughs #they have a good time and exchange numbers so periodically in the show beer would be on his phone giving kluen live updates #the two resonate over having braincells and meet up for lunch more and more frequently as tan and phum are enraptured #eventually mick catches them together and jokes he feels like he is third-wheeling a date #beer and kluen both say it is not a date and mick makes a face before going back to his video games #mick is so absorbed in his video games he doesnt witness beer and kluen agree to try and go on an actual date right in front of him #cue we are series typical nonsense as the cast keeps catching beer and kluen on dates without realizing they are on a date #until beer shows up with kluen to a gathering and reintroduces him as his boyfriend #everyone is surprised they got together so quick and beer has to explain to them not every relationship is a bl #then beerkluen becomes everyones relationship counselors because they hold the sacred braincells #at some point phum asks beer how he feels about kluens former crush on peem and beer stresses it was a former crush and relatively minor #and phum realizes he was really shitty and unreasonable to kluen and apologizes and they become friends #just the ghostship of beerkluen #we are the series #we are series #beerkluen #fuck it ill make it a tag
