it’s time i discussed something that’s been HEAVILY on my mind
what would happen to different TADC ships if they were placed in a microwave?
so with caine being an AI i associate him with technology/machinery/etc, therefore i think he would have properties similar to a fork if i stuck him in the microwave. no matter who you ship him with, if you stick them in the microwave and Caine is present, its gonna spark up and catch fire and probably explode.
for some reason i think of Jax as being made of like a squishy clay-like substance that expands into a mess of Hot Goop in the microwave. kinda like microwaving marshmallows/peeps or bar soap.
using bunnydoll as an example here, I’d imagine microwaving Ragatha would actually make her pleasantly warm like one of those microwaveable plushies that are super therapeutic (did anyone else’s mom have one of those in the 2000s? are those still a thing?). but if you stick her in the microwave with Jax he’s gonna expand into one of those horrible sticky messes that will cling to ragatha’s plush fibers in a way that will like never ever come out no matter how many times you put her through the wash. simply terrible
alright, now we’re REALLY in the realm of huffing harmful chemicals. gangle and zooble probs have a lot of hard plastic between them, between gangle’s happy mask and zooble’s, like, entire being. so if you microwave them, they’ll probably start to melt and wilt, and then start to burn if you let it go too long. this is def one of those toxic-smoke-billowing-out-of-your-microwave type of kitchen fires.
i assume kinger and queenie are made of wood so whatever happens would definitely depend on how long you let them sit in the microwave. they’ll def catch fire if you leave them in there long enough, but otherwise they’ll probs just dry out and start to crack. might have a campfire-esque wood burning smell which might be pleasant for a moment before your microwave explodes.

omg what a fantastic question!!! im not entirely sure. we’re essentially asking what happens if you put a fork and a bag of marshmallows in the microwave together. does it all just explode? or does the expanding marshmallow extinguish the flames? (honestly it probably just explodes).
